Right first time 1,903 Report post Posted September 3, 2016 Well done, Mighty Blues' team-mates, good win against a strong Turbos lineup today. Gordy, Geoff & Brian our big winners today, great stuff guys. Hard luck Turbos, you had the lead for most the day, until Brian unleased in the penultimate race. Punter Pete had a sensational day and (as PJ so delicately put it) absolutely smashed me. Consolation for the Turbos are 2 valuable points, one for a Team Profit and one for a higher aggregate. Thanks for another fun day PJ comp day, PJ. pete, sir1galivant and Gordy55

Jack also scored in the last for The Chiefs being just edged by Catalano for MVP honours. Richie was Man of the Match for the victorious Crusaders who lowered the colours of the "Vo Rogue" table-toppers in a close match although the Waikato took a bonus point for a higher aggregate. 0.00 Mr Gee 259.80 Jack 238.60 Tom 267.80 Catalano 295.80 Richie 237.80 Casper 237.00 Rob 224.40 Ian 280.00 Alan 226.60 Sylvia 1 THE TURBOS $1721.20 2 points 4 THE BLUES $1675.60 4 points The Turbos had a couple of chances to win it in the last but both faded and none of them tipped the winner while Pete added a bonus point for a 4-1 margin by nailing Viceroy by $1 being the sole Auk on target. Both sides took a point apiece for a team profit while the Turbos took another for a higher aggregate in what was an excellent display of tipping on a tough day. There was some consolation for the puddys with Sharne bagging a BB and Man of the Match Graeme also chipping in to take the Kats' aggregate just past that of the Ferdies for a bonus point. The Turbos may have lost but their 2 bonus points actually elevated them one place while The Hurricanes gained two spots from their win over the Barbarians who remain in the cellar. Former leaders the Chiefs dropped two spots in defeat while a last race defeat for the Kauri Kats saw them lose three ! The Crusaders gained one place with their win as did other winners the Magpies and Ferdies. The Sharks loss saw them drop 5 places (that's half a table) and will be looking to improve sharply next week. pete and Right first time
