Shouldn't you also thank the RIU for taking a sensible position with their penalty submissions, and the JCA for departing from historical precedents whereby penalties typically start at three months ?

There is a pattern of recent times whereby both the RIU and JCA are acting more in line with what might be seen as a "licensee friendly" common sense approach and ignoring the rather draconian habits and penalties of the past.

That's a very good thing, worthy of applause, and should be acknowledged don't you think Rumpers ?

I  agree completely  and by saying it was a good  fair result I was indirectly appreciating the JCA approach

There were numerous mitigating factors which were very well put forward by Mr Pitman to justify the end result  but..6 weeks would have been better  but 8 is OK

in the circumstances
