rayzor_ 219 Report post Posted June 16, 2016 Team, Last weekend's hard-earned 1.5 points against the powerful Panthers has resuscitated our hopes in this competition. I felt our defensive tactics to keep those known big scorers in check played a key role in our success. Still plenty of work to do on offense but at least we're heading in the right direction. This weekend we play the Grim Reapers, a team that promised little and has delivered even less. I know that on paper it looks like a walk in the park but that's not entirely true, its the same off paper as well. Team, I understand it's hard to get enthused about this match but we're professionals, we're in a comp and and we have a job to do. Our hardest task this weekend is to decide whether we should we play our joker. Fact: 63% of our points to date have been earned against the Reapers. Do we really want to ride into the finals on the coat tails of a team that has been beaten down and bullied by every man and his dog and who with a cold touch of irony, find themselves standing at death's door? "Yep!" "Too right!" "Smoke 'em!" "Show no mercy!" "Teach that Hesi some manners... " Team, I appreciate the stance you have taken in this instance but as captain I feel obliged to uphold the integrity & values of the SunLiner brand. We're a team up for a challenge, big challenges - kicking the Grim Reapers when they're down isn't one of them. Lets save our joker for a real team, a *live* team. Good luck players. cheers R Peter Jenkins and ziggy09
