Right first time 1,923 Report post Posted February 17, 2016 Phew. After the latest debacle thank goodness we're back to the home of common sense...Ellerslie races. There we won't find little men running around the Friday night drowning the pitch ! A lesson hopefully learnt by Waikato Racing Club and before them the Hawkes Bay Racing Incorporated. Let's hope for a Saturday where the quality of the horses and the racing is to the forefront, instead of the incompetence of racing club staff and officials. Right first time 1,923 Report post Posted February 18, 2016 There they were .... The Hawkes Bay Magpies No.1 ranking in the Super Comp, after 4 rounds ... Holders of the 'Shield', having seen off a well-performed Ferdies outfit. Smiles all over the Magpies faces ...and justifiably so. Then along came the Mighty Blues. Sorry 'bout that, Magpies....reign over ! Gordy55 and Kundalini

Peter Jenkins 2,120 Report post Posted February 18, 2016 I have a feeling the success (or otherwise) of NZ's (2nd?) most talked about horse may decide many matches on Saturday evening...... Some may have developed an "allergy" to him while others will be "weighing up" his chances closely and decide there is another "Alpha" male in the field..... On "balance" I think tomorrow might be a little bit early but I am "weighing up" a futures bet on the Sydney Cup (not on the Hoof but on this other horse you allude to). Right first time 1,923 Report post Posted February 19, 2016 Hello folks. So what can we expect tomorrow ? - we can expect quality racing at NZ's premier racetrack, Ellerslie. - we can expect a track at Ellerslie that will accord all horses their chance, as a result of no-one having played monkey games fiddling with the track. - we can expect the Mighty Blues to regain No.1 spot in PJ's Super Comp. - we can expect the Shield back where it belongs, in the Southern Hemisphere's premier city, Auckland. - we can expect the Jafa's 'The Crucible' to go 5 from 5, thereby confirming his status as the Comp's premier tipster. - we can expect Right First Time into triple figures this week, and knocking hard on the door of PJ's 'Magnificent Seven'. These are my 10 quinellas for tomorrow, to aid the Mighty Blues' cause :- R1 4x9 (1) R2 7x12 (1) R3 1x2 (5) Best Bet NZ R4 2x3 (9) R5 1x5 (7) R6 2x3 (5) Best Bet Aus R7 3x6 (2) R8 1x5 (3) R9 1x8 (12) R10 8x9 (7) I was considering playing the Joker tomorrow given I foresee the Mighty Blues taking the match out 4-1, but Geoff has convinced me that there are even easier pickings ahead, before the end of the month even. So I've taken my finger back off the trigger...this time ! So no Joker play this week. I hope you get a winner or two tomorrow Mike C. Let's take this one, Mighty Blues ! A big Saturday for a big team. Let's do it. Thanks, PJ. Kundalini
