ADDINGTON MET CLUB CHANGE OF RULES

Recommended Posts

What is the Met hiding from its Members ?

No communication to member's but then the " Directors " call a "Special Meeting" to be held 3 workings days before Christmas day - Monday 21st December 5-30pm - at the Legend's Lounge.

Members sent a notice with no explanation , no copy of previous rules and no tracking or advise what the changes are to be made and why the urgency.

This is such unprofessional behaviour and in my opinion an unethical way to run an Incorporated Society - what would people think if a complete change of rules, voting etc was advised to members and a meeting called at this time of the year if it was the RSA etc.

What are they hiding - very deviant behaviour - members of the Met make sure you turn up to get this important matter deferred so full workshops and discussions can be held in a timely manner.

Totally agree with you. The explanatory note doesn't give any indication of what rules they want to change except to say that there was a review in 2012 that recommended a review .

Without seeing what the old rules were as opposed to the amended version agree that there is an agenda here. The board ie the directors seem to have most if not all of the power. What happened to the committee?

The committee will become stewards, who can be dismissed at any time the board wishes, which means members will have no one to voice their concerns or ideas to.
