Possibly an exception mate - or maybe there are lots of ppl like me. No congratulations are due (sarcastic or otherwise) - we each make our own choices and live by our own code . And while I would always try to get a good home for any of my retirees - if I didn't think it was possible to find one - I'd rather put a horse down than send him somewhere he was not likely to be well looked after. puha, Ashoka and sharne

jess 1,244 Report post Posted April 19, 2015 Mate I can't afford to build a skyscraper in the back paddock to house all the slow ones we ve had. Ha ha! Aint that the truth! We only have a "pretend farm" here so space is limited. My other half is kind enough not to remind me how many productive, revenue-earning animals we could substitute on our plot for each of my horses .... That reminds me: A lady goes into the chemist and aks him if he stocks viagra. "We certainly do madam," he replied. "Does it work?" she asks. "Sure does," he retorts. "Can you get it over the counter?" she then asks. He replies, "Maybe if I take two I can," puha and elbow

Portfolio 728 Report post Posted April 21, 2015 This horse might win another if it gets a race to suit...... Maybe a small field...3 starters.....other 2 carry 65kgs, Intransigent would lump 50kg....The track would be a bog, so much so that they are still trying to dig up the ambulance....It would start 50 metres if front of other 2....and the other 2 would also drag a plough..... Sure to go out Fav.....otherwise keep ya dough in ya pockets punters.....horse has reached its mark way back. Good on you Puha for still racing it.....maybe get it over the sticks...
