Uriah Heap 481 Report post Posted November 4, 2014 Speak for yourself Uriah - for most of us they are a tiresome bunch of East End barrow boys living on memories of the Great Bobby Moore. Marginally above the Scousers in my estimation, but that's like saying Sadaam was ok compared to Adolf. Now I will stand back and wait for it I note Mr Putin is clamping down of the wealthy elite in Russia, Chelsea Boy. i hope that doesn't mean the funds are about to dry up for your foreign mercenaries, playing under the guise of an English club. Uriah Heap 481 Report post Posted November 5, 2014 First game of (what was then) Division One football I ever saw live was at Stamford Bridge. What a dump. It had a stockcar track running around it, just like the Oval in Palmerston North. I thought to myself I haven't come all this way to support another team with a Stockcar track between me and the action and I never went back. Result was a 0-0 draw with Sunderland. Ahh you loveable East enders with your scallywag humour. Yes you are in a position of strength to lecture about ownership, with your rabble owned by a dodgy Icelandic bank which went broke owing lots of people a fortune, and now owned by pornographers. You must be so proud. Do you cheer when Valencia scores for you lot ? Or is a foreign mercenary ok when in claret ? Hilarious
crustyngrizzly 1,682 Report post Posted November 6, 2014 Celtic drew 1-1 with some romanian team in the bloody fog.It was so thick that obviously some of the Celtic supporters didn't think anyone would see them without their shirts on.Sadly this wasn't the case.I hoped after seeing them that the fog would come down even thicker. beerwithduncan 724 Report post Posted November 23, 2014 What are the odds Arsene Wenger will still be in charge at the Emirates on the 24th May 2015? I think he has no chance. That ball has momentum and I feel he is just two or three more bad results away from being given the Spanish archer.
