Lloyd Vivian 742 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 Well done to the Kats and a Top effort Sharks: we were clearly still on the fresh side today and got the staggers just slightly towards the finish - which was not helped by the Captain going too early and heading the mighty Betty mid-race... [ felt good though! ]However, like a few today, we will 'take great improvement' from the outing today and should be in devastating form in a week's time. I take heart from a good team total and the fact that I was within $20 of Betty at the finish! Memphis2

Todamax101 533 Report post Posted August 31, 2014 Well done Blues, just saw the results. I still take solace in the fact that Dissident won. Easily the most underrated horse in Australasia.
talk 308 Report post Posted August 31, 2014 That was close, at least close in every game except mine (well done Kay). Overall a good solid start from the Red and Blacks - nothing fancy - just good solid graft (excepting me). Special mention to our man of the match Richard - a game and match winning performance reminescent of Wayne Smith in the Wellington Sheild challenge. tony I Have Left

Peter Jenkins 2,120 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 We have a change of Captaincy for the Chiefs due to an oversight from the organiser. Tom has handed up to Maria who I am sure will guide the WAI-KA-TO franchise with her usual panache and flair.
