Beautiful weanling filly by ELECTRONIC ZONE from Orakawa Bay (by Prince Ferdinand). This filly has a lovely temperament, and has been well handled.  She is a good size, and has a lovely action when running around the paddock.

 

Orakawa Bay won only 1 race being her last start. In that race she beat Megapins, but unfortunately after her win she sustained a knee injury and was retired. We didn’t get to see the best of Orakawa Bay.

 

Orakawa Bays first foal is Sheez Torkin, who had an unlucky summer, and with a bit of luck she would have had a couple of more wins to her name. She’s been out for the winter and will be brought back in spring. Sheez Torkin won 2 from 11 starts in her first campaign. She returned 9 cheques from her 11 starts, and $20k. Next time in she will be aimed at the better F&M races.

 

This Filly was going to be raced by the Breeder, but unfortunately the Breeder has passed away and the Family do not wish to carry on with his Bloodstock.

 

The Family are happy to consider Offers, or a Lease with a ROP.

Sorry I have nothing of racing age. I have a broodmare in Orakawa Bay, you can bred from this season if you want to breed champ yourself? She is ready for a date should anyone else want a mare to breed from - first foal is above average. Cheers.

Thanks to those that have made enquiries about this filly. She is still available. I have added some more photos taken over the weekend. By all accounts her full sister has come back into training stronger than last campaign. This is your chance to grab this filly now on a ROP, before her sister starts her summer campaign where we aiming to add Black Type to the family.

This filly is still available. Full sister started her summer campaign today and with a clear run probably would have won...to be honest we were expecting the sister to win today, so a little bit disappointed with 3rd placing. Cheers. Bruce 021 245 8774.

I have a group of guys who want to race her but haven't committed, therefore she is in my paddock growing nicely. The sister ran a good race a few starts back for 4th against Sports Ilustrated at ellerslie

Ive added some more pics taken over the weekend. Electronic Zone dosnt have a lot of stock racing but had another winner on Saturday at Ellersile in the Todd Mitchell trained Our Pink Diamond. Electronic Zone produced $1.2m Kelt winner in Vosne Romanee. I've had a little bit of interest in this filly but no one has committed in taking her. Here is a chance to get this filly on a Lease with a ROP - no capital outlay. She is a lovely natured filly and has developed into a strong looking filly. A horeman said the other day she looks my like a colt! She is straight and has no vices.
