Sterling City won the 1200m GR1 Golden Shaheen in Dubai on the weekend. Earlier in the season Mujaarib another son of Nadeem won the GR2 Al Rashidiya over 1800m in Dubai. These overseas results follow on from the GR2 Gold Circle Oaks (2400m) win by Tajmeel in South Africa and make Nadeem one of the most successful sons of Redoutes Choice at stud in New Zealand. An interesting and common aspect of the pedigrees of these superior runners by Nadeem is the prominence of Riverman in their pedigrees, both Sterling City and Mujaarib are out of mares from the Riverman sire line and Tajmeel is bred 4x3 to Riverman.
