Well not the best way to end but hey we got collect in the last week what an enjoyable 16 weeks it has been, yet another club where the quaddie blues bit us in the bum but some nice collects along the way a special mention to Catalano and Ohokaman who turned a healthy profit to help get the club to the amount we ended up with. But everyone pitched in and although we didnt turn a profit we all got 16 weeks worth of enjoyment for $4 each ( $4 normally lasts me like 30 seconds in a pokie machine so to last me 16 weeks I am very happy).

 

So now to have a 2 week freshen up in the paddock from a brief spell then start again Saturday 31 May 2014. Obviously have done something right as we are taking a full team into the next club.  I'm happy to keep with the same format of 2 people betting each week as we had in this club but if there is a another format that majority want we can changed it.

I for one have really enjoyed it, despite not contributing to the return!

Also happy with the current format.

 

And on a personal note many thanks to yourself and your family for their efforts in making it happen, especially this week under obviously trying circumstances. Some of the posts in the 'Tatts Tiara' threads really do make me despair!

 

Anyway if it's any consolation, while we spent many weekends like the one you and Sarah just have, my wife and I were always comforted by the belief that as our little darlings got older they would; cost us less, cause us less concern and we would worry about them less...in fact, the opposite is true.. but their worth it.

 

Look forward to PC # 9, and hopefully making a more significant contribution.
