Duration: Will commence on Wed Dec 11 at Ellerslie (Day 1) and end on Mon Dec 23 at New Plymouth (Day 12) Structure: Each Day of the comp you will be given (an imaginary) $60 to spend in 3 bets on the meeting nominated by me. You may bet on any race. The 3 bets are locked in stone and are: 1) a $20 win bet 2) a $10 each way bet 3) a $20 place bet They can be in any race you choose and can even be in the same race however you must choose 3 different horses for the 3 bets. Competition: This will be run in two separate formats with everyone automatically entered in both: a ) A cumulative earnings format where all $$ earned will accumulate over the duration of the comp. The competitor with the most money is the winner. b ) Points will be awarded by the scale 10-6-4-3-2-1 for the highest 6 returns on each day. Competitor with the most points by the end of the comp will be the winner. An Arrowfield stallion cap will be the winning prize for each comp. Closing time: Entries must be posted by 1 minute before race 1 on each day. All selections must be made in the one post. No subs or replacements.
