globederby12 1,495 Report post Posted November 23, 2013 What an incredible horse this is. 11 years of age,smokes to the front from a wide draw,and runs 1.49.9 to get an invite into the miricle mile. Ideal Scott stone motherless,Caribean Blaster and several others including last yrs Miracle Mile winner Baby Bling left floundering. He has to be the best horse of his era . If he finds the front next week he is a huge chance to win again, tonights times were 26, 29.3, 28, 26.6. Not sure anyone will sacrifice their race to take on SU in the second quarter. JackSprat 947 Report post Posted November 23, 2013 Yet another incredible run by Smoken Up, and on that run you'd have to rate him to win the big one next week. On a different tangent - what was Mark Jones thinking of on Mach Beauty when he pulled off Smoken Up's back about half way around the home turn? His only hope of beating Smoken Up was to stay tucked up behind him until at least half way up the home straight, and try to bomb him late! Maybe he forgot that he as driving an out and out speedster, and the horse he decided to challenge to a staying contest was the toughest horse in the land! We are never left wondering,not like some of the clowns here . Mind you they arent driving a Smoken Up. The Miracle Mile just got a whole lot more interesting. sixgoalhero 1 Report post Posted November 24, 2013 If SU draws outside Mach Beauty next week i think he wins, Mach Beauty will get to the front and take the sit again, hard to see anything winning from off the peg line when they run those times, and Mach Beauty will probably be the only horse close enough with a chance.
