The Kats defeat cost them two places as they slipped to 4th while the Highlanders success at the expense of the Sharks saw the Otago side move up to 2nd spot. Everyone else held station. With two rounds left the hopes of the Sharks, Bush Pigs and Chiefs of making the Premier round are fading. Lloyd Vivian 742 Report post Posted September 21, 2013 Well done Ohokaman - you finished like Its a Dundeel to pip me on the post! Sorry Sharkies - I finally tipped some winners but my 2nd B/B went astray. Still, I feel we've turned a corner now and we're ready for a do or die effort next week. We can do it - we've done it before!
Right first time 1,916 Report post Posted September 21, 2013 If 'Aeronautical' had gotten up in the last to scuttle us "Bluebies" then we always had the option of phoning the Randwick office to have the race declared "null and void" because the winner failed to complete the 1100 metres within 1 min 02 secs. That's right...all those Aeronauticalicians would have been promptly and summarily what's now known in the English language as ..."Oracle -ed". Apologies to anyone who doesn't follow America's Cup yachting ...you won't have a clue what I'm talking about.
Right first time 1,916 Report post Posted September 21, 2013 Lloydy ...you're absolutely right, you Sharkies have done it before and yes, you will do it again ....but not next week, my friend. You Sharkies are standing between the Blues and the Championship round, so we're on a mission next Saturday, captain Alf says we're bringing the Joker with us, and for you Sharkie guys, good as you are, the picture is forecast bleak at best. GO THE BLUEBIES !
