Where are our powers to be?sitting in there office with no one with the ability to answer this lier..

This sit back and not telling the truth atitude is destroying greyhound racing, they should be proactive.

This survey they are doing is again a waste of LPs money and just a cover up,surely there lastest million dollar computer should have all this info as dont we pay to registar all dogs.----- And do they really think someone who does what they are trying to find out is going to tell the whole facts???

Why dont they spend the money on track saftey?-----

Pay the best curator in aussie to work on all our tracks, and teach and tell all our track staff how they will prepare tracks (you never did hocks on grass tracks, mostly only toes and minor injuries) has anyone ever thought about going back to grass?-- in todays world it would not be a problem (maybe a astro turf with rubber under as the new sport fields are going.)

Why dont they just go and get saftey pads made for all tracks with outside fencing?

Why dont they just go and put saftey fences over the running rail around all the tracks in nz?

Why dont they provide kenneling for all dogs at racing tracks ,instead of making dogs cook in the heat in trailers just because they want 12 or more races ?

Surley instead of wasteing money on a worthless survey that they can just sit on there bums and pat each other on the back sipping there gin and tonics they could be out there saving dogs lives.

We got lure covers, but what a fight to get these so called bosses to do it,every excuse in the world untill we got the track staff a auckland to make one------OH SO EASY.

We need to sack all of them, administration and board members and start a whole new culture----Enough is enough

No they are not Lee, and im not sure how "on the subject of hock injuries" dew claw removal is related....

Well said Hound Fan, until the culture in the boards that are supposedly running our sport change, we're in for a long battle. Some of it is just logical, its obvious, but because this is the was things have been done for the last 25 years they think its the way it should be done now. As a great man once sang "you better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone, for the times they are a changin' "

LOL i had a laugh at comments about the grass tracks i was recently over at casino NSW wales track last grass track left over in aussie at there last meeting off the year in december and three dogs broke there hocks that day while i was there. Modern dogs need a modern track surface that is properly maintained.
