Von Cettes 678 Report post Posted September 6, 2015 The Warriors had a dig which was good to see they can take a lot out of that game, Lolohea must be somewhere in the side next year hopefully at 6 The Dogs put on a show alright, a pretty poor one, probably expecting the Warriors to roll over, all I can say is roll on 2016

Fartoomuch 1,376 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Warriors finish the season in 13th place. Have won nothing in 20 seasons and nothing likely to change next season.
ziggy09 384 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 if you look at the Warriors line up 1-7 1) Lolohea 2) Allwood 3) Kata 4) Peyroux 5) Wright 6) Townsend 7) Lino 2016 Likely line up 1) RTS 2) Fusitua/Maumalo 3) Kata 4) Lolohea 5) Vatuvei 6) Leuluai 7) Johnson © 8) Lillyman 9) Luke 10) Matulino 11) Thompson 12) Hoffman 13) Mannering 14) Fatila-Mariner 15) Vette 16) Henry 17) Lisone Very similar to what I can see evolving VC. Get rid of Hurrell IMO.....his body can't take the hard knocks as far as I'm concerned. Has trouble with the top 2 inches (or maybe 10 with his haircut currently)...I see another sin bin on the weekend FFS.......no thanks we don't need that "culture" anymore. Keeping everyone fit and healthy is the key for next season.....same for every team I suppose. Be nice to see the U20's and reserve grade progress further in the finals. Give us an interest.....I hope Stacey grabs 4 or 5 of the boys who started yesterday. Doggies this week I think & Wyong to follow....both "winable" although those Mounties look as though they will take it out.....thumped us 2 weeks running now. THE TORCH 657 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Lolohea has to be player of the year. Finally gets a halve start and does more in three games than Townsend ever did in 3 seasons. When will we wake up to the fodder we buy from Oz?? Von Cettes
pogo(aus) 826 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Yeah VC - roll on 2016, then 2017, then 2018, then................... Same old same old! that's pretty negative eljay have a look at how long between drinks it was for saint george ILLAWARRA and south sydney, cronulla most likely enter their 50th season without a premiership ( thanks hartley) and parramatta a nursery for juniors, how long since they won? and then there's north queensland too with the right coach ( not mcfadden) and some grey matter in the side you will win one for sure, sooner rather than later. a couple of observations on next years likely side, the ballet dancer is good but way over rated, he has plenty of errors to offset the good stuff , hurrell is useless, vatuvei ditto , and the loss of the chad is immeasurable, luke is a time bomb, the warriors next year will be massive unders. Von Cettes 678 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Hurrell has potential, more of a bash em type player, with little up top, than a skillful player, needs to work on his defense, and most of all his fitness, will more than likely not apply himself and will be lost to the Warriors. Vatuvei his time on the wing is probably up way to slow to turn, high error rate, has lost some pace, Maumalo would be the better option on the wing with Vatuvei an impact player (2nd row) of the bench a bit like the Rooster boys Evans Tukiyaho Warriors- odds on favs to have the most suspensions in 2016, Shoulder charges, prime candidates Vatuvei, Hurrell ..GUBB...LUKE.... Good to see he is going to fight for his position, With the sacking of Ivan Cleary at Penrith, McFadden better start the season well, as rumours had been circling last season Cleary was under pressure and could be heading back to Auckland. meomy 971 Report post Posted March 5, 2016 First round of the new season and what happens when we decide to go out to watch the Warriors play at the local? Selfish grizzly ole git Brad who has no interest in rugby league, nothing positive to say and is abusive and never leaves the same bar stool every weekend is there hogging the tv watching rugby. Great start to the season when you can't even frickin watch your local team. To the best of our knowledge most bars/ tabs , including the one we went to, have a set of guidelines that local teams in the region one lives that are playing get priority and the Warriors get priority over other regional games. It would be appreciated if bar owners and managers at this particular bar/ tab, and where there Sky TV sports is available did a much better job of catering for all patrons as we have seen Brad, and at times other lone males with similar personalities, cause many potential patrons who go to have a wine, beer, bet and relaxing night walk straight out the door in despair. It would also be appreciated where there is limited TV's available in small communities that they all work together, as in communicate, and have something in place where if one is showing say the rugby that the other show the league so we can all enjoy our sport and lives in peace and harmony. Canelo 459 Report post Posted March 7, 2016 If we were a racehorse we would be always running on, even in a steeplechase. This season we need to show grit and character and win these close ones and that starts with intensity from go to whoa. Saturdays game showed two things, the ability to score a lot of points in a short space of time when we are switched on and the ability to concede a lot of points in a short space of time when we are in default mode. Hope someone can reach the Warriors with this incredible insight in time, it could be the secret to a successful season. globederby12 1,495 Report post Posted March 7, 2016 Yawn!!!. Againsted one of the weakest teams without key players and conceding so many early points, they would have to be the most amusing side to watch. It doesn't get any better year after year. Belonged to the club as well for a short time when living in Sydney. At least they have won the comp a few times. Unless the structure and leadership changes at the Warriors it will be another 20 yrs of the same.
Canelo 459 Report post Posted March 9, 2016 I would like to but I can't argue with you there. A shame as we have some good players but seem to go backwards under the Warriors structure or lack thereof.
meomy 971 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 So after last nights performance do we now call The Warriors Cowboys or Bunnies?? Roll on the Storm home game. We have beaten them so there's no excuse.
globederby12 1,495 Report post Posted March 20, 2016 A club record for a losing streak. ? Well the Storm came and went, maybe Laurie Daly was on the mark. It might take 6 games to get it right. Pity, the season will be over by then. Canelo
barryb 2,062 Report post Posted March 20, 2016 A new coach will be in place before game 6. One of the toughest jobs in world sport is coaching the Warriors. Its getting very tiresome supporting them that's for sure. Canelo and kakama
