Traka 115 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 Agree with what most have said, but a positive was they are still playing the full 80, that in itself is a good sign, yes they should have beaten the Titan by a margin, but an ugly win still beats a great looking loss. As I have said before, their problem still lies with the decision making and while Johnson has a good step and can bamboozle the opposition, in doing so he often does the same to his own team mates hence getting penalised for obstruction while on attack. He dances left and right forwards and backwards and his team mates have no idea where he is going at times. They also need to cut the 50/50 offloads, they often lose possession doing so. Bottom line, it was a win and another 2points on the tally, I'm liking the right winger David Fusitua, cool head on young shoulders. meomy 971 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 Hey we agree with you, the Warriors could have & should have won by a lot more points, as always What??!! They should have drilled that Titans rabble by 20 tonight! Having a blind Aus half is crucifying the Warriors.
Killafornia 65 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 Agree with the comment about Fusitua. Great young player and at this stage a much better prospect than the Fish. THE TORCH
Von Cettes 683 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 Hey Zig I thought the Warriors were a little flat, so to the atmosphere, and for that matter even the Titans cheer leaders were a little flat. The crowd 18,800 odd, I would say we just had their measure, not by much, but we definitely out numbered them, you probably could see that on TV, it was a bit strange when Beau Henry was taking a shot for goal and the jeers started sounding out around the ground. Considering where we sit on the ladder, the Kiwi fans done well getting out to the ground, as for the Titans they just don't draw a crowd. In a short time McFadden has done well to turn this team around, but it's coming more apparent that when the Warriors take on a lesser like team their intensity and energy levels aren't at the same level when they take on the big guns, and more often than not they get beat, the Warriors should have buried the Titans, minus Kelly and Siezer, and Gordon and Harisson and Myles and Bird and even Brad Tatarangi, Ryan James etc. The Warriors really aim up against the Dogs Storm Roosters Manly and Souths, and get comprehensively beaten against the likes of Parra St George Cronulla etc, this is probably something the man they call Cappy needs to address, so the match against the Knights may not be so clear cut, but I echo the thoughts of others at least we got the 2 points, and are that little bit closer to the 8, lets hope the Warriors do put the Knights to the sword. Now if you were a Kiwi living in NZ surely you would be booking your holidays for a week or two on the GC, Saturday Warriors v Ttitans, Wed QLD V NSW at Suncorp, and then onto the weekend the Stradbroke in Brissy, and in between times Wet N Wild, Movie World Sea World Dream World and Von Cettes World Go the Warriors And as for Townsend I would give him a little more time, he needs to improve his kicking game, he has the talent, will get better with time probably lacking a little in confidence THE TORCH

THE TORCH 665 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 Great point Von. As for Townsend he has ample confidence - too much you could say. Ive seen him earlier in the season give some senior players a rev for nothing at all. The look they give back to him basically lacks respect. He has some gas but that's all. A woeful passer of the ball - he's about as good as pogo's tipping (who by the way could get a job on Trackside ). We will always suffer with this fool in our team. He gets about 20% of the ball from the ruck and that is a hell of a lot of possession to waste on someone who doesn't run at the line, cant pass, and has the touch of a butcher when it comes to kicking. pogo(aus) 876 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 you'd lack confidence too if you came from cronulla...... as drew barrymore said, "the chad is good." and will get even better.

Killafornia 65 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 The Maroons need a win to take the heat of the cap-rorting Broncos. We know the NRL gives preferential treatment to the Broncos by giving them Friday night slots for 90% of their games, so let's hope they don't sweep this rorting under the carpet. Points need to be stripped. THE TORCH

THE TORCH 665 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 Hayne was simply amazing. Ive never seen a more impressive individual display in an Origin match. Unreal! As for the other Hayne...well what a muppet. Von Cettes

The young fella obviously read your post Nathan Pretty solid all round wasn't he? Only going to get better as his confidence grows. All along I knew Pogo wouldn't have sent us a "dud"!!! 9 out of 10 performance as far as the game went. Was so refreshing watching that "D" rushing up the full 80 minutes... Admittedly we let in 3 tries but you have to give credit to the Knights. Their completions were very high and "finally", they looked like they could score a try or 2. Finally we are in the "positive" with our points differential meaning we will "whoosh" past 3-4 teams, hopefully next week. Just noticed too....the Warriors have scored more than any other team currently which is a nice surprise. Bring on the Bunnies!!!!! Go the Warriors
Killafornia 65 Report post Posted June 3, 2014 Scurrah out and Doyle in for 2015. Excellent news. With a champion like Doyle leading the way it bodes well for the Warriors future. Scurrah was a dud and oversaw some dodgy decisions (letting Cleary go and signing the Bluey his worst). His lasting legacy will be introducing 200 different Warriors jerseys for mug punters to purchase. I Have Left
Gruff 2,790 Report post Posted June 4, 2014 Blueys decision to join that rable was his worst decision in a highly successful career, soon as he was sacked the warriors won them in a row...

Bit of a surprise Killa but welcome news IMO.....can't believe the guy never "fell on his sword" with all the carnage(and lack of results) over the past 5 years. Hey Gruffy.......your Bronc's are going OK mate. Still on course for a 7th-8th place finish in 2014. Globe....you know where you can shove your beloved (over rated) Sea Eagles. Rambling_Kidd 160 Report post Posted June 4, 2014 Hayne is a wanker, first class. They have been dribbling on about that tosser since he first appeared and what has he achieved ? ........ fuck all. Wow the blues finally got a win ............ roflol the problem Queensland had in the critical later part of the game, (like Australia in the last test) was they had too many playmakers on the field and no one with a plan, the whole too many cooks thing. ziggy09 384 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 Its a great weekend of football coming up .... Some great match ups and a betting nightmare ... Yes some tricky games Kidd....your boys (close to full strength again)will have a tough one up at Newcastle. I thought the knights did pretty well against the Warriors. The Eels/Cowboys another hard one to pick, more so because of the Cowboys crap away record. So I reckon the table will look something like this at the end of the round.... 1: ... Bulldogs ---- 20 2: ... Panthers ---- 18 3: ... Roosters --- 16 4: ... Broncos ---- 16 5: ...
