Only scorer for the Hurricanes in that one was that veritable legend, Steve, now batting 5 from 7 on a very tough programme. ..and the Crusaders fight back ....with BB double-ups for Gary & Richie, and Matt also on the winner. Gary moves ahead of Globe; and Matt has edged out Bryn. Richie's mounting a run, and Rob's not far away. So ...3-2 to the 'Canes ....with three to go. Not sure how this is going to all pan out, I guess R9 will be critical, as R10 is all around 3 horses that won't be paying much any of them. What i can see is this- Matt & Bryn - seaparted by only $3...that they have 4 different horses in R9 ! If one of those 4 wins for one of those 2, will be very,very useful for their team Richie - could creep in front of Globe if Flying Snitzel gets up, and holds it's price. Gary - PearTart will ensure a win for Gary over Globe Globe - likewise, a win for Appearance should see victory over Gary Rob - could get up if Dear Demi wins the 9th & More Joyous the 10th.
