Henri Jooste 40 Report post Posted October 16, 2009 The Arion Pedigrees website stallion register has been drastically cut back to feature only about a dozen locally based stallions. The gesture by Arion in the past in providing the stallion page as a free service to the industry was appreciated by many and invaluable as a research tool. How do other forumites feel about this development ?
bazzag 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2009 Has NZB taken over Arion pedigrees.??? I never use Arion myself Henry, but I imagine it would'nt be to hard to work out who the dozen stallions are.

bazzag 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2009 i am more than a bit surprised, there are only 2 on the list I would have picked. I wonder how Arion settled on that line up.
reng 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2009 If you are using IE8 you might be getting some download issues - perhaps it's just that. Switch to Firefox and see if it changes.
Henri Jooste 40 Report post Posted October 17, 2009 Reng thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately I get the same result - a reduced list of sires on the site. Are you able to access a more complete list of stallions ?
Juno 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2009 And funnilly enough, some of the stallions are listed under the name of their NH stud, e.g., Kildangan - Iffraaj, Ballylinch - Bachelor Duke. The webpage reads "To the left is a selected list of stallions standing in New Zealand and Australia." Not ethe word 'selected'. Whats going on here? reng 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2009 Geoff wants to thank everyone for letting him know of a problem (although an email to their contact details would also suffice!). They are working to fix it now.
