Right first time 1,913 Report post Posted September 15, 2012 I note in the newspaper today that the numb-brains in Epsom, Auckland are disappointed with their electorate MP John Banks, and wish that they'd never voted him in. Yes, not exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer, the folk of Epsom, and proof that some electorates in the country should have to apply for a licence (not easily granted) to be allowed representation in the government. Having gifted the country the "slippery" Rodney Hide, they then go on to gift the country the equally "slippery" John Banks. Well done, Epsom ! jack

hedley 1,900 Report post Posted December 4, 2013 CAMPBELL~Live: MonAPR~30th_12 On Friday night, Campbell Live broke the story of Kim Dotcom and his now highly controversial donation to the 2010 mayoral campaign of John Banks. Now the cheques that prove Kim Dotcom did make that donation have surfaced, and show it was split into two payments, from the same account, on the same day. There is now evidence John Banks did accept that helicopter ride out to lunch with Kim Dotcom at his Coatsville mansion. http://www.3news.co.nz/What-the-documents-say-about-Dotcoms-donation/tabid/817/articleID/252414/Default.aspx
hedley 1,900 Report post Posted December 4, 2013 CAMPBELL~Live: WedDEC~4th_13 John Banks is standing down at the next election. He is an extraordinary politician, perhaps less narrow minded than we in the media would have you believe. Remember, the man who once railed against homosexuality, changed his world view so much he went on to support the Marriage Equality Bill. But Banksie, as he sometimes refers to himself, has been dragged under by donations he received from Kim Dotcom. No one denies Banks received them. The question is: Did he know? The donations story was broken by Campbell Live in April of last year. The police didn't prosecute, but a private prosecution has now led to the Solicitor-General taking him on in the High Court. And that is costing Banks his political career. Banks hasn't been found guilty of anything. The trial won't take place until next year. The claims and counter-claims first revealed on Campbell Live 18 months ago are at the heart of it all. http://www.3news.co.nz/John-Banks-donations-story-as-broken-by-Campbell-Live/tabid/817/articleID/323972/Default.aspx
Rambling_Kidd 160 Report post Posted December 4, 2013 You do know, Jokey is the real arsehole, Banks, merely a puppet, but a muppet that succumbed to greed and with that, I say the guillotine ... Weird how people forget the lies, Jokey and Wanks told, and how the WHOLE ELECTION was a fraud committed by these two and a idiot based Epsom electorate. Not to mention the fraud that is Dunney and his non existent party ... Amazing what these pos have got away with for the last 5 years. One day soon, hopefully ....... Rambling_Kidd 160 Report post Posted December 4, 2013 Yeah, I just don't understand it, when our countries LEADER, lies and deceives as much as ours has, and then he just smiles and everybody goes, oh isn't that sweet ....... The manipulation of the Epsom electorate, first with Hide, then with Banks was absolutely disgusting and the arrogance shown by Key and his contempt for the New Zealand voting public was unbelievable. but hey ..... maybe one day

jack 429 Report post Posted December 13, 2013 Only two of New Zealand's 70 electorates, Epsom and Tamaki, voted in support of the sales programme. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/9515170/Two-thirds-of-voters-oppose-asset-sales I note in the newspaper today that the numb-brains in Epsom, Auckland are disappointed with their electorate MP John Banks, and wish that they'd never voted him in. Rambling_Kidd 160 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 Aye, but the real numb nuts, were in fact, ALL the Labour voters in Epsom, who simply had to vote for the National candidate in the last election and they could have sent Act to oblivion. SO WEAPONHEADS, if donkey and Act try this again, simply vote the National guy in, party vote Labour, candidate vote NATIONAL. Killafornia 65 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 Those Epsom voters sure know how to pick 'em. They elect Rodney Hide who takes his girlfriend on a taxpayer funded holiday to Hawaii, Canada and the UK. They then elect a John 'career criminal' Banks, whose convict blood was well known. Who next? Christian cult leader Colin Craig? Or yet another white-collar criminal? Are the Epsom voters incredibly thick or do they knowingly elect dodgy muppets?
meomy 971 Report post Posted June 8, 2014 They should have all been instantly dismissed as that way then they don't get a "golden handshake or the superannuation payout" whereas if they are asked to resign & do resign they qualify for the "golden handshake & the superannuation payout". John Banks would get around 35 years of superannuation payments if he resigns that we have also contributed to, that's a decent stash of cash at our expense. Notice how few 'leaders' ensure they are dismissed? It's because they know if they are found out for having done 'wrongdoing' they too would not get the "golden handshake". It's overdue some real leadership was shown & dismissals where given to regain some integrity from those we pay handsomely to do a job governing our country. hedley
