Who would you like to see interviewed?

Recommended Posts

Terry Moseley

Lance Robinson

A number of names put up have already been interviewed and i would find the above two who have been at the top of South Island jockeys for many years would be very interesting and he does not interview very many from the South Island

You could throw Burkie in with the Hillies and for a little spice add Lance Rokela and Brian Delamore, now there would be an afternoon.

Burkie could tell us how to base jump off a power pylon without a chute.

and add Chris Freakley for good measure.

By Steve Davis, put some names up for consideration and then I'll do a poll to rank them, and we'll have a wee competition based around the questions that should be asked of each individual.

......Tim Vince ??

He's a well rounded balanced individual with some good stories to tell.

Goes back a while ,yet still current.

A lot of those mentioned have been featured in recent years and have pretty much told their story.

eg ANeil on MPitman very good !!!, JSergeant ditto , GSanders ditto.

Laurie Lynch (Farrier legend and huge personality)

Tim Welch (expert foal/horse handler and all-round good guy)

Baz Dowling (equine chiropractor)

Royce Dowling (always got a good story or 3!)

Jim Marks (Vet )

And some breeders..

Lorna Moore (of Bazelle fame)

The Hawkins family (Des & Janet)- breeders of Miss Raggety Anne (I think) and Little Bridge

Jeanette Broome (ONZM and breeder)

....heaps of really interesting people!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Steve Davis interview Dave O'Sullivan. What a wonderful person Dave is. I can't help but think back over the era where the O'Sullivans were one of the 'main stays' of this industry.

How about Sir Patrick Hogan?

Some great suggestions mentioned here, I think.

Also what about Ann Browne?.

What about Tommy Hazlett? I spoke to him once at Ellerslie and thought what a pleasant bloke he is.

Also Peter Johnson. I would like to hear what he has to say about his experiences in the industry.

Trevor and Stephen Mckee. Two of my personal favourite people in the industry.

Mark 'Boots' Sweeney. Going back a number of years I use to think "If in doubt back 'Boots' :)

There are so many - where do you fit them all in?
