The Rosina v Vonz v Zither clash in Group B looks like the most competitive fixture with this trio amassing 7 victories between them so far while the Group A showdown between 3 serious tipsters - Mr Winbig, Tasman Man and styxmyfavourite - promises plenty of fireworks. Hi..just to re familiarise myself with the tipping procedure.I see that the tipsters were naming a jockey as well.Seeing as i haven't been in the comp this time around,do you get extra points if your jockey kicks butt?.

Mardy it's two tips per race for a $10 win bet each and they are coupled with a $1 quinella. You can name a STAR jockey OR trainer. If one of your tips is ridden or trained by your STAR you get double the return (win bets only). No return if they ride or train a winner which you haven't tipped.

Subs can be named. If your tip is scratched then the sub is the horse who drew the outside barrier. If it's a late scratching the sub is the fave.

Hi Peter,

Just looking at the N.Z.times of the Doomben competition races on Saturday,they are an hour later than the times you have indicated.Therefore,races 1,4+7 are going to run after the allocated N.Z.races.Would it be too late to reshuffle the races to work in the correct times?

Can't change the order as people have already selected however I have amended the start times to the correct ones which means races 1 & 2, 4 & 5 and 7 & 8 have swapped chronological order when you go to watch 'em.
