Congrats to Ohokaman who led for the first six races, then took a sit and came with a strong finish to take Day 1 honours by a narrow margin from Pak Star - that #1 vs #2 made the difference - made that mistake myself a few times.

First season was brilliant TV I agree John - haven't yet tried the 2nd based on feedback. Was always going to be a very tough job to back up on the first though.

Probably got what I expected today as I find that track hard to unravel 

Despite the tough name it's a fun format tomorrow so I will try and lift my game

The second season loses it's way a bit in the middle Phil, but on balance I would still recommend giving it a try. Finished strong!

As well as the cumulative points competition, the top 32 from today's round will play-off over the next 5 days in a knockout comp - draw below.  Your picks will count towards both the points comp and the knockout comp.

Just back and catching up - results up shortly but can say that 17 of 41 entrants lost a life in an 8 horse field in the first comp race - could be a tough day for some.
