Was good to see Farag filling a placing in a supporting race at Flemington yesterday and paying almost $20.00 for a place. Farag was previousley owned and trained in NZ by Shelly Wright before being exported to Australia - I think Shelly still has a part ownership share.

Farag was a previous Jericho Cup (4600m) winner.

Good to see him in the money, think Shelly trained a horse I was following that just shifted to the south island, endean ace, nz horses have a good record in the Jericho, the ultimate staying test, ablaze, ñassack diamond also been successful, may have been another that escapes me, be interesting to see who makes the trip this year, very good stake money.

Yes he was a tad, just wonder weather he needed the vanderhum conditions or even the couple of other races took their toll, hopefully hell be back in nz racing at some stage, I'm sure he won his second race in greymouth, from greymouth to Melbourne quite a story, I do stand to be corrected though, memory not quite as good as used to be.
