RP he could even beat the Aussies the way he is going he has improved so much this time in . Alta Meteor good honest race . Your Pinseeker really had every chance.  The rest can't really say much about them except for Chase a Dream the run would have done him good .

Yeah Pinseeker went ok. Was always going to need perfect run in cup so still top 4 chance. Was 3rd run back. Couldn't see anything else winning

Well I thought maybe this distance would be a bit light for RP with some really good speedy horses inside him but WOW....he can run a bit !!!

Geez guys gettin bit nervous bout Kuta, that sting aint there  Pinseeker, boomed home thought it was bloody good run, Chase was in it for a run re fitness he'll be better for that, thought DSDreamin would've run on better than that....RParty certainly has his tail up at the mo, hope it lasts....

I think after that race , Carter D wouldn't be scared to sit LTF parked . Swayze he would let go I think .

But damn the favorites out option looks good now if they both come or just one . I think Blair got a shock like most of us because most others would have let WWBF lead . Shows how confident Carter is

Akuta missed some work Iraklis mate. Mark Purdon said the horse would need the run and he did. I guess he will start at Kaikoura as he needs another run? Akuta is still one of the best Kiwi chances and he will be a place chance in the Cup.

It was a shocking drive on WWBF but at least the horse got the start right. Orange is the wrong driver for the horse in my opinion. Ashburton is a front-runners' track and the Republican Party goes best in front so why would he hand up? Never going to happen.

Guys, Kingman is comin for The Cup reckon we probably all thought he would, he's beat both Swayzee and the Leaper course he's gunna come  can't wait for Mon so we can get a read on our guns gawd I hope Merlin an Kuta run it really well.....11 days to go, yup, just gettin a tad nervous now

Not the strongest of fields Iraklis when you consider the cup so Akuta would need to win this I reckon . STB might upset them on a turning track if he leads and see Scotty is on him this time . Wrapt to see Hayden keeping Olivia on Vessem and have Blair sitting in the stand

$8 for STB seems great money on that track. Might not step quick enough tl lead be only concern

To my mind Charlie mate, Merlin and Kuta both need to be showin summit  wouldn't shock me to see lil STBetter take this, shame Harrison's not drivin he's been doin so well and Sooner seems to like him, maybe Scotty want's to do some extra work on his (STB) stand start manners

STB has drawn 1 or 2 in 6 of last 7 starts. Had every chance in my view with draws like that.

See the thing with that Charlie, is I reckon they gotta run him, I mean, I mean he got in, he's in The Cup right? summit all trainers hope to have a horse good enough to get into the field, doubt they'll back out now unless he really does run another blindin shocker; they're perseverin for a reason  but look at it like this, not only does Mo'unga get another chance to step up an show somethin of his 'holy crap look at this boy go' self, but if he is again shockingly bad, that could be the kicker to pull the pin....I just hope they keep Mo's best interests at heart....my big worry is that big lug Merlin gawd he better step up

Old mate, Akuta is doing ok. He needs to be cherry ripe on November 11, NZ Cup day. there aren't many better than Master horseman Mark Purdon at preparing a Cup winning horse. I think he is a top four chance in the cup, people forget that he has been off for 15 months. It's hard in that grade he's thrown straight in against the best nz horses. He's got some catching up to do, and He will need eight or 10 starts before he is full fitness. I think he will be a better horse next year Iraklis mate. At least he's back racing and is sound.

The good steppers who will begin fast you would think are American Me and Mo . If STB goes out fast will be good to see . Akuta fingers crossed he begins well . To be honest I hate backing horses on that track lol

If sooner the better leads Merlin will win stb will park everthing until Merlin comes looking for the front they'll want a confidence builder for Merlin going into cup
