BIG KAHUNA CHARITY PUNTERS CLUB CONTINUES THIS SATURDAY

If you missed it in the first two weeks, please read the bit at the bottom of this post about this being a self-scoring competition.

If you have a collect (incl. late scratchings) it is up to you to post your collect on this thread.  Like the first two weeks, someone might choose to post score updates on this thread during the course of Saturday afternoon - they do not supercede the need for you to post your own collect.

Please post your Week 3 picks on here.   Pick one horse running in any gallops meeting in NZ or Australia this coming Saturday (5 July).

New entrants welcome.

You will have an imaginary $10 each way on that runner.  The entrant with the highest collect on the day is the winner and gets to place a bet for charity on the following Saturday.  If two (or more) entrants pick the same horse, and it has the highest $10 each way collect, the person who posted first will be deemed the winner.  We will use tote dividends (no fixed odds).

In your post please clearly show the meeting, the race number and the selection - names are good because that is easier for people to peruse the selections.  An example of a good simple post might look like this:

Te Rapa, R6, Bellarista

Posting deadline:  11.40am (Saturday)  Please post before this time.

If your horse is scratched you can replace up until the posting deadline.  Late scratchings are just bad luck.  In this case you will get a $20 collect.

Another important thing to note about this comp - each week it will be self-scoring.  If you have a collect with your bet, it is up to you to post your collect on this entry thread.  What would be helpful is if you have a collect you quote your original entry post and add your collect to the new post.

We will give you until 9am on Sunday to post your collect - if you haven't done so by then, it won't count.

I reckon by week 10 the message might have got through mate :) .  Hasn't been an issue for me as I haven't had a collect :(

Bit of nepotism there Baz .

But deserves one , good luck .

I missed out tipping the one last Saturday so I'm hoping lightning can strike twice in a week ! 🤣 More a loyal selection than confident one. 😬

P.S If you throw enough darts you eventually hit the bullseye! 😁

I just need to insert a couple of gaps around the course for this one on Saturday as well. 🤣

Well after last weeks practice run you should be a bit sharper and able to sneak a couple of rails down without being noticed .
