Baz (NZ) 1,760 Report post Posted Monday at 06:12 AM When will NZTR wake up and program what the majority of connections want for a young horses education?....regular grass trials! Feel for owners of northern trained runners having to fork out excess travel costs just to trial and educate them so many miles and hours away. Northerner Canterbury Man ( now that’s an oxymoron) will definitely have the answer to your question. scooby3051 and Baz (NZ)

Zakhu 626 Report post Posted Monday at 08:32 AM 28 Northern trained horses entered for Foxton trials tomorrow, that's probably adding an extra 4 or 5 heats to the day. Should be a good day's trailing on a nice deck and a decent track. 3: Te Aroha (Peter Lock) 4: Te Awamutu (Brent Gillovic) 10: Matamata (Kurtis Pertab, Paul Pertab, Cody Cole, Daniel Miller) 11: Cambridge (Sam Mynott, Clinton Isdale, Alex Oliveira, Hollie Wynyard) Insider and Baz (NZ) 1

Seems bizarre.
Zakhu 626 Report post Posted Tuesday at 07:12 AM Some nice performers out of the trials today. I thought Paltrow Miss was most impressive for Robbie Patterson in heat 11. Challenging for Lowry/Zydenbos in Heat 12. Spencer's in for a good campaign. Blaird
Zakhu 626 Report post Posted Tuesday at 07:13 AM Few new names at Foxton today in terms of the jockey's: Hannah Wilson, Frankie Barrett, S Wong, Archie Loweth. Hopefully we might see them raceday in the not so distant future. Insider 5,239 Report post Posted Tuesday at 07:13 AM Check out the results. The winners came from all over the North Island - North, South, East and West. Soon the South Island will be participating given Colin Whiteman's drive to put people off the Polytracks. Now you can see why I am right against racing returning to Foxton. It's an incredible trials track in the CD, for us to prepare our young ones.  Blaird
