The current  Australasian broodmare record sale price is 6.6 million held by Imperatriz, Will Bella Nipotina surpass that? Different types but Bella remained sound , she is a rising 8 year old and the broodmare paddock is calling. She was some horse.

Must say I’m a bit surprised at this. She has put $22m in the owners pockets and nothing else to prove.

Given that, think I would have wanted to take some time to pick an appropriate partner for her and retain the offspring.

Maybe they just want out, but it does seem a bit disrespectful just to flog her off.

Some people are just not into breeding...at least they are doing the decent thing and not flogging her into the ground....good on them she will make plenty in the sale ring to I would expect.

Yulong will probably purchase her to add to their very impressive band.

Theres a saying, "Everyone gets lucky once in their life," I got that with my first horse. Having a massive windfall is life changing as it is unearned money and your attitude to that changes. You can go from a "tightass" to a splasher at the drop of a hammer.

I didnt go big just a good German car and a diamond watch for the Evalovin and a Rolex for me.

Tried many times to get lucky again but slowies and bad luck intervenes.

Good luck to Bellas' Owners. Theres a beginning and an end to every ride
