Quick observation - 12 runners over the two races........9 by Aussie based stallions......3 by NZ based stallions.

Without delving into the sale results it would be safe to say that there would be a lot of dollars running around. 

Obviously the Fillies race is the iconic feature race, but from memory the colts race usually light on numbers with only 5 runners.

Return to Conquer was a $1.3 million purchase out of the Gold Coast yearling sales. At the other end of the spectrum Daylight Robbery cost $10,500 out of the online yearling sale
