Has the required standard dropped or do the Greyhound powers just don’t care anymore ?

I observed a big fella take out a Cole greyhound Tira Miss You and he looked as though he had spilt a meal of baked beans down the front of his tee shirt .. not a good look on TV at all.

I thought GRNZ were supposed to be cleaning their act up .. yeah right

You only mention cleaning up their act. You said nothing about clean shirts 🤣

FFS some of you doggie people are so hollow. I take my Mrs to some dog meetings For her pleasure I dont punt or take to much interest in them anymore. BUT have you taken the time to look at how hard that guy works. Almost every race leads and boxes up plus all the other work in the kennels Trust me you have more worries than this issue of which you people just ignore no wonder your games fucked. worried about a little sauce mark on a shirt. The guys gotta eat perhaps no time to clean up or change a shirt if in deed he had one. Tell me when did you last take a spare shirt to work or the races just in case you dribbled more than usual  PS I have never met the Coles or their staff and same applies to this big boy who I well call  the OX

Wow .. no need to lose your cool and start swearing. It's all about perception, and if you're a greyhound professional worker it's not hard to look presentable for TV. That's why there is a dress code. The dress code like the sport is in decline, because nobody is being held accountable.

It has nothing to do with how hard someone works, or the old he or she is a lovely person. It's as easy as getting things right ... and not the old she'll be right attitude.

That's my opinion, and obviously you don't agree. But hey that is absolutely your right.

Working and spending time with animals one often comes off worse for wear on the clothing front.

It's also easy to spill food, or equally as annoying but also funny, finding out that the dog has connived to steal ones lunch out of the car and leave remains on the seat only to unknowingly sit on the scraps left behind and be left with an imprint on clothing.

So for whatever reason one may not have a change of clothes. Dogs, don't you love 'em?!

Without knowing the full circumstances behind the matter, who are we to judge?
