She may be a good member here but seriously what is your opinion about what is happening at Trentham?  Fair question is it not?

I think you will find it is not their fault...so stop attacking good posters in here or get lost.

Wonder what the excuse is for Trentham not producing a penetrometer reading on acceptance morning , it's all good , trainers and owners can just guess .

Just get professional .

Rain: No Rain Last 7 Days

I know it's there where you have to go hunting for it , why can't it just be under Trentham on the home page , like they did on Nom's day .

Maybe they were seconded to the IT section to help with the videos of yesterdays trials .

Possibly. Seems like the pigeon post has turned up with them now though. Pity they wouldn't spend a bit on bringing their infrastructure up to at least third world standards.

To be honest in this day and age there is no reason they cannot be broadcasting them live .

What's lacking is a will .

They have the infrastructure there to video them so how much more is required to live stream them ???

The Aussie horse has certainly saved the image of the Wgtn Cup. Without him it would have been a pretty ordinary field. Always sad to see a 3,200m race not attract a full field.

You really think that makes much difference? Is it a real chance?

Maher is not here for the scenery. 6th in the MC behind Without a Fight beating some decent sorts home.

His problem will be the weight, giving 6kg to most of the field. Can still win.

It doesn't really matter whether it is a chance, at least it adds a hint of class to the race. It has won almost $1m and did race in the Melb Cup. I doubt any of the rest of the field would get into a Melb Cup.

My point was that it adds some interest to the race, which otherwise would have been about as interesting as the other Wgtn Cup on this weekend.

It does have to give weight to the rest but it is the class horse of the field and went well last start so must be a massive chance. Beavertown Boy is probably the horse to beat. I have no idea what the odds are. I don't bother with fixed odds or futures betting

It is a very ordinary WGTN Cup , AGAIN , on his MC run and if he is near that form he should walk this , famous last words , weight and travel are his issues , more so how he's travelled .

Ah well , just had a look at the last MC form , 15th , 7.8l from winner and really not the strongest MC we'll ever see . But as I said this years cup continues the downward trajectory .

Coming back from an injury there though NM. That last run more like it. If he handles the weight, he wins. Pretty ordinary opposition.

It’s time to stop moaning. I have had no trouble finding what I need.

Well I've always gone to the home page and the meeting and got the track conditions , not this time , still got track conditions from 2 days ago .

Can't ask people to stop criticizing simply because it's your club .

@nomates has a fair point.  As a regular active participant in racing he has found it difficult to easily find the information he wants.  What would it be like for the newcomer that you wish to capture as a long term customer?

Although the track information posted for Trentham and a number of other tracks often has no correlation to the actual conditions.
