What an insult to the Horse Racing industry to once again have broadcasting of cricket on SENZ Radio on a Saturday afternoon instead of Live Race days of significance.

Goodness gracious have live Horse Racing available on traditional Wireless Radio so those who are out and about and unable to either watch the races on Television or via the internet can at least partake and enjoy our Races.

 

Who has made and signed off these crappy decisions?

You can listen to the good oil with Claydo and Sticko on the Sport Nation app. Given that Entain now own the station it is piss poor.

Much prefer to know we still have a Moat around our Castle and Privacy thanks which Apps don't provide.

Btw, How does it work with The Broadcasting Act with all those tracking every movement and choice?

SENZ Radio target audience are younger sports bettors who bet huge amounts on sports not racing. These "elite" bettors usually have a short shelf life. How many would have taken the shorts and bet on the Black Caps v Sri Lanka yesterday?

I think you will probably find there were more people at Trentham than Ellerslie only guessing looking at  TV,  I was at Trentham more inside than out as it was dam cold lol but good racing

History repeating, Once again Cricket took precedence on Boxing Day and Racing has been battered.

Note that SENZ Radio is off air on traditional radio next week due to works on there systems - sounding more like Kiwi Rail not running either at the same time of year..

Who is making these decisions?

 

Someone must be held to account.

 

There's geographic locations across NZ where internet coverage is crap and it would be good to ensure people wide and far had access to listening to the Races on Radio at the beach or on the farm.

 

Remember the good ole days when we could all access Racing?

Yep. off the air since late yesterday arvo down in the Horowhenua. Amateur is a word that springs to mind. Was going to go outside for the day and have a few bets, but cant be stuffed now. Oh that's right I can use the app on my phone. Yeah right, the bloody thing keeps dropping off. Fucking useless. So no bets from me today.
