Well I'M a Trump supporter until he goes wrong and that's something that's unlikely to happen he is far to smart and sees the world in his own unique way . Tariffs they are simply a way of rebalancing world trade which in many cases have placed the USA at a trade disadvantage . Many country's have existing tariffs on anything imported from the USA or won't accept USA goods and that's what this is all about Trump wants more than Tariffs he wants to negotiate excess to international markets for USA goods .To date even though not yet fully implemented tariffs have generated $100 BILLION and by the end of this year it's anticipated $300 BILLION will have been raised and so far no inflation , As for NZ tariffs won't be noticed , in some cases it might be a positive , take beef we have a 10% tariff on us and our competitor AU has a 30% tariff clearly that favours us .
