I think the G1 horses need individual treatment and it's hard to give them that if the stable has many horses. It worked for Todd with his horses really making their mark this season. The Telfers have to be the worse - their weekly costs must be huge compared to almost everybody else. Tom Bamford trained 2 as well. Diamond Racing had a win, 2 seconds a 3rd & a 4th from I think 6 starters so fairly consistent. The rich guy usually buys a few at the yearling sales each year and I think they breed too. His former trainer was the disgraced P. Burrows. Young Bamford doing a good job though, a G1 winner. Funny story so far is Barry and Scott currently 130th out of 140 odd, on the current NZ Trainers Premiership. for with Trainers with a placegetter so far this season They should be on the winners list shortly , but is quite funny seeing the champions so far down the ladder for the minute.
