The QLD Ironman of the competition had to get one to help old mate Pondy out John. Ben Cartwright can rest easy at the Ponderosa. Alf Riston 1,996 Report post Posted July 20 Thanks John for all your efforts and providing some fun entertainment on a grey Saturday afternoon Well done to my partner - we combined well and had our day in the sun. Hard luck to you and Floyd Pink, but stars always rise so best of luck to you both in the future rounds I was always likely to go well today as I decided to put the wallet away and not have a bet after being well wide of the mark last night and emptying the account. A long way to go though eh. John and Floyd Pink, next week will be your week. cheers all Black Kirrama and Chestnut
Ponderosa8 1,487 Report post Posted July 20 Prior to the Horrifying result our team was leading 3-2, and after that result the points were still 3-2... so Horrifying did nothing apart from getting us closer to the additional bonus point. My cobber scoring the last winner got us another 2 points and also ensured we got the additional 1 bonus point.. So while Horrifying was a good collect.... there is no "I" in team. Well l didn't have a bet today AND I did rubbish in the comp too, so your theory isn't 100% sound If l hadn't decided to pick my nose, my picking today would have been completely fruitless.
