The QLD  Ironman of the competition had to get one to help old mate Pondy out John. Ben Cartwright can rest easy at the Ponderosa.

Thanks John for all your efforts and providing some fun entertainment on a grey Saturday afternoon 🙏

Well done to my partner - we combined well and had our day in the sun.

Hard luck to you and Floyd Pink, but stars always rise so best of luck to you both in the future rounds 👍

I was always likely to go well today as I decided to put the wallet away and not have a bet after being well wide of the mark last night and emptying the account. 😄

And well done to you Alf …… a real team effort and we had a good day. A long way to go though eh.

John and Floyd Pink, next week will be your week.

cheers all

Prior to the Horrifying result our team was leading 3-2, and after that result the points were still 3-2... so Horrifying did nothing apart from getting us closer to the additional bonus point.

My cobber scoring the last winner got us another 2 points and also ensured we got the additional 1 bonus point..

So while Horrifying was a good collect.... there is no "I" in team.

Well l didn't have a bet today AND I did rubbish in the comp too, so your theory isn't 100% sound 🤣

If l hadn't decided to pick my nose, my picking today would have been completely fruitless.

Thanks John .Your regular updates that we competitors rush to see.

How you do all of this is  beyond most of us racing tragics comprehension.

. All of us on R Cafe ,  just so appreciate your skills and  and contribution .

Ponderosa  ( The Paul Man )  leads this competition.

His last two week's selections have seen  winning results  at double figure odds

Sir Ponderosa  has   a quinella strike rate 18 % selection or BB  ( ? )   comparable  to  some of our champion and revered  members

Chestnut,  Kilcoyne , winner 69, Floyd Pink, Gub  and maybe that Marlene Todd trained Horse by Sobig ,Kirrama.

Ponderosa  has contributed  so much  for years in our Race Cafe competitions

Pure Steel and Ponderosa Thrashed  me and  Goodison today.

Marlene Todd what a wonderful lady she was, along with Margaret Bull  :)   They were such identities in NZ racing during the winter season.      Good shout out  BK  :)

3 horses spring to the top of my mind. Our Boyfriend (and Mark Barnsley?) winning at Riccarton for Marlene... and Lacka Reason and Magnitude for Margaret.
