Using TAB A/C in Australia

Sorry to bother you all. I'm off to Sydney this weekend and I suspect I will not be able to use my NZ TAB a/c when I'm there. Yes/No??? Thanks in advance

No problem as far I know. You just have to use an NZ IP via VPN.

KDT .....you just need to load a VPN on your computer and you can bet on the TAB wherever you are in the world.

When you choose a country put NZ and it comes through as a NZ transaction so you are away and racing.

Many to choose from.....cheap as hell....and an invaluable tool for you every time you go off-shore.

Enjoy Randwick and punt until your hearts content when you get your VPN and there are a 100 to choose from just Google VPN and some are even FREE.

Your phone will not work correct as you will be mobile via an Aussie Network.

However as FF says your Laptop or IPad will if you use a VPN & select Auckland as it’s location even when hot spotting from your phone.

There are plenty of good very low cost VPN out there, your current malware provider probably supplies one you can use.

You should never use wifi other than at home without one, it’s like leaving the key in your front door.

When I travel to Oz I leave my home PC on & access it in Aus via my laptop using Anydesk, with Malwarebytes VPN & 2FA via Authy.

Yes that’s paranoid but I have had money stripped because I wasn’t careful enough, once bitten twice shy.

I’m a bit late to the party on this, but my experience is that when in Aust my phone on roaming is ok to access the nz tab, but on an Aust wifi is blocked.

Is that what you found kdt?

The TAB app does not work here on roaming. Message says not available. I have managed to get access via my laptop.
