Quite refreshing actually. Will still follow the good racing and do the competitions but I'll spend my pocket money elsewhere. I’ve emailed the help desk twice. Once they are replied 4 days later asking if I still wanted them to look into the issue. The second time, it’s been four days and no sign of a reply. With offshore bookmakers when ever I have emailed them I have always had a reply with in 24 hours.

ivanthegreat 1,146 Report post Posted June 29, 2024 I find that apart from the enoying lack of Quaddie results which the announcers could give us so we dont have to go to results , the coverage is full of incompetance like the selectors picks go in different order and freqently some are missing. Crossing over for insignificant races when horses are coming back to scale. JUST A GLORIFIED BETTING SHOP>

Pak Star 1,224 Report post Posted July 3, 2024 I know theres been a bit of chat in here lately about runner comments and AI etc. Had to laugh at Te Rapa Race 3 Saturday - Donardo: Ran well last start when 0L behind Hey Happy at Te Aroha. Go well. Last start he only jumped 4 hurdles before being pulled up with a slipped saddle. Would hardly call that running well, let alone 0L from the winner. Prior to my self-imposed exile I had placed a bet on Harry Kane to be top goal scorer at Euro 2024. He finished in a 6 way tie for top goal scorer. I was therefore expecting to collect 1/6th of my dividend (a small loss). I popped into a retail outlet yesterday (no paper in site) to collect and was paid 1/7th my dividend. I can't figure how they get 1/7th from a 6 way tie?? I've emailed the helpdesk but based on recent experience I don't expect a response. Only serving to support my decision I wonder how many other people were sold short by this? I collected over 2 days after the bet was resulted. Had nobody else picked this up before then? Maybe not a popular bet option?

Pak, it's absolutely insulting and appalling and this bullshit form comments is everywhere in all 3 codes. Instead of real people doing it, it's computer generated crap. If they reinvented the Turf Digest I'm bloody sure the passionate punters would buy again, and the website would be used for punting only. I mentioned previously having unpaid bonus bets and the website seems to glitch often, among other things hanging as bets are processed (needing to sign out and back in) I know of others that have had 'weird' things happen with bet placements and can't help but wonder if the errors stack in their favour and they are not being upfront about the stability of the platform? I've bet on horses that have had (A,B & C) alongside the number in the old days, but the other week I even managed to bet on horse 0, it seems (maybe a Pogo virus, n0) My mathematical brain is not what it used to be and I have been trying to work out if I have been charged (in terms of percentage bet allocation amount) for the non-runner 0 ?? Here's what the bets looked like if anyone can confirm my suspicion that the addition of the 0 has pulled back the percentage amount

Here's what the bets looked like if anyone can confirm my suspicion that the addition of the 0 has pulled back the percentage amount Hi Phil, It looks like the percentages have been reduced by the inclusion of runner 0. How bizarre? One way for them to boost their margins Like you say, how many people are being short changed by this stuff? None of the errors I've encountered have been in my favour. I had a response yesterday morning asking for my account number and date of birth so they could investigate further. I told them I don't have an account and placed the bet at a retail outlet. I wonder if most of them know what a retail outlet is? I haven't had any further response. It shouldn't be that difficult: confirm six players finished in a tie; confirm that the payout on the option was set to 1/7th; admit mistake. Hi John - thanks for confirming what I thought - it seemed that bizarre that I figured I must have it wrong. The more of this 'bizarre' stuff that pops up the more I think about Mr Bates vs The Post Office Are they accumulating undue profit and not wanting to fess up to the numerous system issues that are having? This was another weird thing that happened when I placed a bet. Might be time for a journo to ask some hard hitting questions of those in power.... Here's what the bets looked like if anyone can confirm my suspicion that the addition of the 0 has pulled back the percentage amount By my decades-old fifth-form maths, yes, the non-existant "zero horse" has added an extra combination thus reducing your percentage collect due to the fixed total stake. I guess if you were taking, say, 50 cent units they'd have charged you extra for the dubious privilege of taking the zero. For example, the top quaddie should have been 75%, not the 66% they've quoted. Charlie Bukowski and chiknsmack 1

Yes, there's certainly been a few weird things happening mentioned on here, and always favouring Entain it appears. Can they be trusted? All I've had so far - although admittedly I've cut back on my betting to next to nothing over recent months - is a bonus bet or bonus cash [I can't remember which] disappearing after a few days because l didn't immediately use it. I now realise they're time limited. I'll have a watch of that Netflix programme. But it was more the Entain explanation l was referring to. So much babble l got lost along the way.
