Rarely makes a blue and keeps the race flowing ....so all in all a VERY good race caller and I like him very much. Bruce Sherwin is a nice guy but shouts way too much in his calls. You were just fine Bruce, I don't think you shout at all, you do a really good job creating a picture of what is happening during your call. I used to think Mark McNamara shouted strangely enough and thought he was just ok, where others loved him. I have always rated you as a caller FF seems to profess to know everyone doesn't rate you but says you're a nice guy which I'm sure you are. And Palliser for the record I do know Bruce along with nearly every other caller in the country past and present (been in the game a long time) .....so I reckon I can call it as I see it and for Bruce to say he's been a bit off his game shows the manners of the man. He was a great caller when I met him up in Macau about 25 years ago and didn't get quite as excited as he does now that he is part-time.....but he still nails every finish! ......Good on ya mate. You also said you thought Marc Mac was 'just OK' .....WOW you must be a hard marker Palliser as he is regarded as one of the worlds best which I agree with 100%....and yes I know him personally as well and he is a top man just like Bruce.
