Are Miss Jools and Friend Family off honeymooning somewhere ??🤔

I posted with a couple of spelling issues yesterday and was expecting the blowtorch to come out, but no...😄

I think you'll find Pete Lane and We're Doomed are filling in for her , not sure if it's an apprenticeship heading to a fulltime gig but we will see .

No I don't think so. I'll refrain from any further corrections - just having a bit of fun.

I struggle to comprehend the negativity around the Ellerslie track, the management team are not muppets and the last thing they would have wanted was the issues around the surface last year.

They have consulted with experienced track managers from Australia and will be as careful as possible in seeking the right result. Ellerslie is the flagship for NZ racing and the coming year is arguably the biggest in our racing history.

I cannot accept that management will not have done everything within their power to ensure a safe and viable surface. Lets get behind them, I think our industry had been balancing on the edge of the cliff and Entain have breathed new life into the game. Lets leave the naysayers behind and have a jar of positivity.

I have no connection to either Entain or Auckland TR., just a passionate owner.

Good on you , nothing wrong with being positive but most people I know have had all the positivity knocked out of them .

Catch up with the Pukekohe meeting today , more owners shafted .

I think the negativity involves the arrogance about great they are, and they are just as flash as Flemington and Randwick, with similar stakes, a world class track, sweepstake races and a slot race and NZs greatest race-days. I'm sure everyone wants Ellerslie to do well and the country certainly needs them to do well. But just get on and do it. Don't brag about how great you are and then have numerous abandonments,

Correct WD. The old “ Under promise and over deliver” adage.
