He knew the players that had taken him through his career till then were leaving, no more free ride to greatness . and he called time... kudos for his great timing, but I feel for the new coach.. he has a lot of injuries on his hands but I think he'll do okay as time goes on ... every team has gone through the rebuilding and they have a solid base camp to recruit from Right first time

I'm not suggesting he should ... plus I don't think he could and wouldn't want to as he knew the players that would be leaving ... one was a pathway to the other and he left when the Crusaders were going to field a team not up to his previous line up .. what I'm saying is.. that anyone could have coached the Crusaders in the past ten years Don't you think? When given control of the under 20's it was a disaster ... when he inherited it.. they won.... next comp when he had to select from high schools and clubs ... they finished no higher than 6th I believe... I'm not a Razorconvert ... I hope to be proven otherwise and I'm sure the players will do their best, but what he will add.. I don't know. Forgot to add.. that I think Leon McDonald will probably save him He's class.

He got the AB job so therefore of course he finishes with the Crusaders. Someone else may have got the Crusaders winning but they didn’t Razor did. Seven competitions in a row must mean the guys a genius. Plus he was losing players all down the years. But having said all that I’m a Canes fan. Maybe it’s the Canes year. Some nice sideline interest in who will be top dog in the Aggregrate Stakes. Here's a form review of the top hopes leading in to the final weeks. Pogo (AUS) - Took off like Kotare Chief landing a 100 to 1 shot, but will it be a case of Po g0ne too early ?? Littletramp - has littletrampled a few opponents on his way to the second spot and one more big week might prove enough to get the spoils. Winner69 - will it be Winner Winner Chicken Dinner for 2? Nicely poised to 'take it out'. Aaron the Anchor - ever consistent week in week out and belying his Anchor tag, s0 far. Idolmite - some weeks have been more Idle than Might, but still lurking with a potential knock0ut punch. Jack - obviously knows more than jack ....., and not too far back to be considered a winning hope. Basil Brush - can go boom at any time so shouldn't be underestimated. Or will there be a withering burst from someone buried in the pack ??? Recommended First 4 - Pogo to hold 0n , Aaron to run into 2nd ,Winner69 & Littletramp to close to call. Well a good horse has four good legs, but as Mr McGinty proved against Marscay he's pretty competitive even with only three good legs. NoMates might be that one bad McGinty leg right now, but bad legs can be repaired. Meanwhile, the other three legs are all in the top quarter of the field. You on the other hand have too many rough habits to turn it around in two weeks. I think you might need to be broken in again Alf Riston, Memphis3, nomates and 2 others
