I'd like the vet to swab littletramp while he's in the tie up area please. He's definitely on something 🤣

Well done Team McGinty :rcfe-like:

Well he did get an additive from Memphis .

Come on you Phoenix!!

(and did anyone notice the Hurricanes are 4-0?)

Yes indeed, John, go Wellington, the Hurricanes are playing very well !
More noticeable though are the Crusaders 0-4. Gotta feel for the new coach, he was on a hiding to nothing taking over from the new All Blacks coach.

Give yourself an upper cut , nobody outside of Chch is feeling anything but joy at their predicament .

I think that Razor saw the writing on the wall.  He knew the players that had taken him through his career till then were leaving, no more free ride to greatness . and he called time...  kudos for his great timing, but I feel for the new coach.. he has a lot of injuries on his hands but I think he'll do okay as time goes on ... every team has gone through the rebuilding and they have a solid base camp to recruit from  :)

Good thinking Chestnut but I don’t think even Razor could coach the Crusaders and the All Blacks at the same time.
I’ve got high hopes for him with the ABs.

I'm not suggesting he should  ... plus     I don't think he could and wouldn't want to as he knew the players that would be leaving ... one was a pathway to the other and he left when the Crusaders were going to field a team not up to his previous line up   .. what I'm saying is.. that anyone could have coached the Crusaders in the past ten years :)   Don't you think?

When given control of the under 20's it was a disaster ... when he inherited it.. they won.... next comp when he had to select from high schools and clubs ... they finished no higher than 6th I believe...

I'm not a Razorconvert  ...  I hope to be proven otherwise and I'm sure the players will do their best, but what he will add.. I don't know.

Forgot to add.. that I think Leon McDonald will probably save him :)   He's class.

I’m a fan. He got the AB job so therefore of course he finishes with the Crusaders. Someone else may have got the Crusaders winning but they didn’t Razor did. Seven competitions in a row must mean the guys a genius. Plus he was losing players all down the years.
But having said all that I’m a Canes fan. Maybe it’s the Canes year.
Which team do you follow Chestnut

I'm happy to have a foot in each camp :)

Individual aggregates after Week 9

Today's top scorer Littletramp jumps into 2nd to make it a McGinty quinella.

Some nice sideline interest in who will be top dog in the Aggregrate Stakes.

Here's a form review of the top hopes leading in to the final weeks.

Pogo (AUS) - Took off like Kotare Chief landing a 100 to 1 shot, but will it be a case of Po g0ne too early ??

Littletramp - has littletrampled a few opponents on his way to the second spot and one more big week might prove enough to get the spoils.

Winner69 - will it be Winner Winner Chicken Dinner for 2? Nicely poised to 'take it out'.

Aaron the Anchor - ever consistent week in week out and belying his Anchor tag, s0 far.

Idolmite - some weeks have been more Idle than Might, but still lurking with a potential knock0ut punch.

Jack - obviously knows more than jack ....., and not too far back to be considered a winning hope.

Basil Brush - can go boom at any time so shouldn't be underestimated.

Or will there be a withering burst from someone buried in the pack ???

Recommended First 4 - Pogo to hold 0n , Aaron to run into 2nd ,Winner69 & Littletramp to close to call.

Hopefully  Showgate can continue our form into  next weekend.....Bring on Roughy.

2 weeks at the Top Tier (with 5 pointers) . is probably enough for you scooby . don't want you getting too confident , then left struggling like Desert Lightning.

Our 'Rough Habit' Chestnut Filly 'Chestnut' is too fast a match for you old boy 🏇 and you'll feel like you are chasing 'Pride of Jenni' .  the pride of Rough Habit.

Forget those Top 'Hopes' Alf.... Watch out for the Walla Walla Pure Steel coming from a 200yd handicap like Cardigan Bay and circling the field for a death seat park out , and then grinding the locals mercilessly. Rough Habit descended on them many times from the back of field in Brisbane for some good wins ...  history repeats.....

That's funny PS - because I nearly wrote 'still anybodys game, except Pure Steel' 😆

From ScienceDirect:

Steel is graded and classified into four groups: Now 5
  • Carbon steels.
  • Alloy steels.
  • Stainless steels.
  • Tool steels.
  • Can't win steels.

200 yards handicap = about a $3500 handicap 🤣

Actually, magically doubling your score would secure you the death seat parked outside of Pogo, n0? :rcfe-like:

No Doubt about it POGO n0 is enjoying a lofty run with my old Mr McGinty mate Mr Memphis.

McGinty starting to show signs of weakening lately? No-mates is throwing out distress signals at times 🤣 so Memphis a bit worried and might want his old 'Pairs' Ninja Steel buddy back to claim the Victory once again. Swayzee like efficiency . 😋

Well a good horse has four good legs, but as Mr McGinty proved against Marscay he's pretty competitive even with only three good legs. NoMates might be that one bad McGinty leg right now, but bad legs can be repaired. Meanwhile, the other three legs are all in the top quarter of the field. You on the other hand have too many rough habits to turn it around in two weeks. I think you might need to be broken in again :rcfe-laughing:

I think with comments like the one above gelding with rusty scissors is the required treatment , and I'm available to do the procedure .

And to be honest if he thinks it's distress signals he has misread my situation , it's PANIC stations .

Don't worry Mr Mainwaring , don't worry .

He’s lost a few players so it won’t be instant but I’ll breath easy while he’s coach. The previous teams late success was down to the assistants that he was given replacing the ones he selected himself.
Couldn’t even select decent assistants .
