    Does anyone remember the gallopers On show and No show, I think they were trained in Wairoa. Used to back them when I was a schoolboy. Other favourites were Commisionare, Taj Rani, Burletta and the old mudlarks Greek Meere and Alwick. Also my champions back then were McGinty and Our Maiscay.Fav jockeys were Gus Clutterbuck, Gary Philips and Jimmy Walker. Racing was more interesting then. Actually used to go to all the CD meetings. Now days itz just relentless wall-to-wall garbage. The real story of racing is the people, the horses and the punt(good or bad). Memories!!!!!
