  1. Register your entry here - first 40 to register will participate in the Pairs comp - don't miss out (any more than 40 and they can still participate in the highest individual total comp, and be on call if any of the 40 don't show) The recent poll and accompanying feedback revealed two things: - Pairs is the preferred format - a number of people prefer a shorter duration (than the recent 13-14 week comps) So here's a shorter duration Pairs comp. Here's how it will work: first week is a Seeding round (and counts towards individual aggregates) seedings will be used to randomly determine the 20 pairings, and to randomly form the 20 pairs into 4 groups of 5 pairs then will follow five weeks of pool play where each pair plays each other pair in their group, and one round where they play a team from another group after pool play the top two from each group will advance to the Championship knockout stage. 3rd & 4th teams in each pool will advance to the Plate knockout. And the 5th placed teams in each group will play in the Bowl. knockout will run over three weeks - quarters, semis and final. 9 weeks in total. More details to follow but picks and scoring will probably be similar to what we used in the recent fours and pairs comps. Register your interest on this thread and don't dally because you might miss one of the 40 Pairs spots. ps. I'm in
