Gee Gary. That's a lot of variables for the making of a group 1 dog.
The group dogs are the ones that overcome adversity.

One look at Manakau and that's all he needed.
4.45 first section today which is flying.
One track specialist.. nope . Think he just needs a look to work things out.

Well Done to Floyd, Calum, May and the connections of the best sprinter in the country. Great result

I don't believe there is a rule against it.

I see no problem with it, and have done it myself when employed by a trainer, handled for someone else when I have a runner engaged, because someone else has that connection.

Id say he is asking the question Twirly because in the harness I don't believe a driver can drive another horse if he has ownership or trains another runner in the race.

I believed it worked well at Wanganui MM, and I enjoyed the 'birds eye view' coverage.
Literally onwards and 'UPwards' for the industry. Lol

The racing board are the ones who changed Auckland to the noon starts for the next 12 weeks I think it is.
It is unfortunate that it comes during the Auckland Cup Carnival, but what choice does the club have.
If you had been so concerned why didn't you have a look at the agrc website to see if there were any update.
The following taken from their website.
    "
    NZRB Trials 12 Noon Starts
The Board has agreed to a three month trial of 12 noon start time for our Sunday race meetings commencing 1 February 2017.  The trial is part of the NZRB Project to optimise the racing calendar.  They predicted that an earlier start will provide an opportunity to import a further 12 Australian races and generate a further $9.4 million per annum ($200k per week) that will benefit the stakeholders for all codes.
The Board have an assurance from the NZRB that our condensed time (3½ hours for ten races) will be maintained.  Also GRNZ will guarantee our oncourse commissions for the duration of the trial to protect cash position.

In hindsight at Auckland.. when it first started some big trees should have been planted ...as I said in hindsight...but there is no reason it could not be done now by grehound nz for future use.on all track carparks....would also protect from the prevailing winds.....oh sorry that's to simple and to easy....why dosnt grnz supply fast growing trees put on a bbq and a few hieneys ( for me, because its my idea and they can employ me as carpark manager ..100k should be enough) and we can all turn up and we can plant them ....but because I'm the boss I will stay in the office and take phone calls...lol.....I'm serious though why not,I might even still be around to sit in the shade..
