mmmyb reacted to GONSTA in Well done ashley bradshaw!!
LOL... The dog is only 16 months old and has only had two starts!!! Gotta love the experts on here that can judge a young pup off 2 race starts. If I had a pup that was only 16 months old and ran a 5.80 / 18.02 middle split at Addington on debut I would be absolutely stoked.

mmmyb reacted to Yankiwi in Surely our codes will follow!!!!
Well said Lowdown & I agree.
However, I would have phrased it this way ~
...a large % of positives in this country were explained as a mistake & the explanation was believed by the JCA as accidents....
Almost every judicial hearing of any sort with a negative finding is titled "not guilty". In a lot of those cases the accused could very well have been guilty, but those who laid the charge lacked enough evidence to prove it. It's not often you hear a finding "innocent".
I have no evidence nor am I implying that any past finding by the JCA fits in to this category. I'm merely bringing it up as a possibility.
If I were a morphine addict personally & got put in front of a judge because of it, poppy seed bread would be the first words out of my mouth. -

mmmyb reacted to Robin Wales in Dogzone
DOGZONE
Once again we have idiots within that know it all.
"On the Bunny" was canned.
Other two codes would like this canned too, but they don't have to do anything as our own people
will end up getting this show canned.
If you don't like "DOGZONE" don't look at it.
Regards
Robin

mmmyb reacted to alltheway!!! in Dream collector
What a waste of a comment to make, when you have done half of what fahey has done, then come on here and criticise him.
I can understand why he took the dog there, It was the perfect opportunity to give him a look at the track as there is a 40k race there in 2 weeks

Maybe they are saying exactly what happened and that's the truth. No blame at all.
Mrs Patton administered the gel. Admitted.
Mr Patton took complete responsibility being the trainer.
For goodness sake johnnyboy. Get a hold of yourself. Not blaming people . Just saying who gave the banned substance.

Royal runner. Nz oaks winner
Blitzing mayhem. Multiple group 1 winner.
Fast archer. Has run almost as quick as dream collector and will take some stopping get if he gets clear down the back.
Opawa Tom. Agree young dog.
Dream collector. Enough said.
Murtagh. Has been running brilliantly in the series so far. And freeman did say in an interview that he has been trying to get this dog for a long time. So must be of high quality.
Kilchurn. Is the next big thing and ran the fastest semi. Can't count out his chances.
Jinjarango career best form and with Dave and Jean Fahey the mentors, he will be ready for the big one.
Can't say it's the weakest field at all. In fact I can only count out one. And that would be opawa Tom.

mmmyb got a reaction from rollyb in Interesting rumour
Get of your high horse yankiwi.
Id like to see you have something positive to say for once.
Youve taken a topic thread and turned into you having a bitch about something... AGAIN!!!
You want office staff to work on a saturday for your high needs for punting.
Maybe record your races? Or find a mate to recordfor you and watch them today.
Another intellectual post from the man himself yankiwi

mmmyb got a reaction from dustydreamnz in Trackside!!!
What about the lead in for most of the races.
One of the races, they were behind the boxes and loading up before the 'whale' stopped talking about the races for FRIDAY night.
The industry has carried the harness through their tough times, and this is how we are treated.
Getting ridiculous that trackside on a Thursday and Friday night are sop harness orientated that the dogs are forever being shafted to the side.
Also, the delay in start times waiting for the horses to get off the track at Cambridge.
If they don't think they have enough time, schedule them 5 minutes later, yes it is no good for the dogs the bigger gaps, causing longer nights and wait time, but at least it will be better than standing outside in the cold waiting for their dinner to get off the track!

Hi Steve
My name is Trevor. I come from Melbourne Australia and I want to share my story with you and your amazing little Swifty.
A year ago I was suffering with depression, my life was falling apart very quickly. I've always loved greyhounds. My dad use to train them in his hey day and told me to go on YouTube and have a look at a dog called Swift Fantasy.
So I did and I was blown away. So I kept on watching her races over 6 months and I told myself even though she is running last she never gave up and failure was never in her mind and winning was. I said to myself when I was in this dark place I didn't want to be in that, even though Im running last and giving up hope of winning. So I thought of your Swift Fantasy and with her drive and determination.
3 months ago I was getting on the path of recovery and now free of depression so I than you and I thank your amazing Swift Fantasy.
-Thank you for sharing your story Trevor. Thank you Steve for sharing this with me.

Probably cheaper than importing your own fs from US, after all the complications with quarantine laws etc.
But yes, a costly exercise
