  1. Not a bullying tactic to get you to stop posting. Just when you start complaining you make the targets (in this case office staff) inferior to you. I know theyve had a lot of trouble since keith left as his knowledge was 2nd to none. Happy for you to complain and have your say, but i didnt like the way you sounded above, hence the harsh reply
  2. No. I dont think its acceptable. But thursday only leaves friday to upload and i think its provided by the tab. So if theyre slow nzgra cant upload. But the way it was posted is what gets my blood boiling. Talking about people leaving and saying their job is so simple undermines the office staff who most work hard and do alot for the running of this industry
  3. Get of your high horse yankiwi. Id like to see you have something positive to say for once. Youve taken a topic thread and turned into you having a bitch about something... AGAIN!!! You want office staff to work on a saturday for your high needs for punting. Maybe record your races? Or find a mate to recordfor you and watch them today. Another intellectual post from the man himself yankiwi

    Stand-Downs

Yankiwi. Lots of injuries show up the next day or longer. Sometimes a dog is vetted after a race and is cleared but an injury can become apparent afterwards. Yes. It does look dodgy but is legitimate in many cases.
  5. Can see perfectly fine thanks mate
  6. Was straightening up around the bend. When your vision isn't 100% I think you can easily say you'd over correct yourself. Try wearing blinkers yourself and run around the track, see how easy it is for you to go straight.
  7. Race 5 1 - Precidence 7 - Opinion 10 - Albonetti Race 7 7 - Royal Standing 8 - Gouldian 11 - San Padre Race 8 1st: #8 - Criterion 2nd: #9 - Silent Achiever 3rd: #1 - Sacred Falls Cheers Gaf
  8. Consistency is all we ask for. 14 day stand down the other week for a dog that went back in the field (clearly injured) but requires a satisfactory trial before starting. This instance, a 10 day stand down and no satisfactory trial needed. 2 different stipes, but surely consistency throughout the RIU is needed! WhiteRanger, just reminding you to be careful what you say on a public forum with the position you hold at a club. Don't say the wrong thing, as it could cost you big time. Not saying you have here, just reminding
  9. Online banking done, Will show tomorrow Cheers Gaf

    Trackside!!!

What about the lead in for most of the races. One of the races, they were behind the boxes and loading up before the 'whale' stopped talking about the races for FRIDAY night. The industry has carried the harness through their tough times, and this is how we are treated. Getting ridiculous that trackside on a Thursday and Friday night are sop harness orientated that the dogs are forever being shafted to the side. Also, the delay in start times waiting for the horses to get off the track at Cambridge. If they don't think they have enough time, schedule them 5 minutes later, yes it is no good for the dogs the bigger gaps, causing longer nights and wait time, but at least it will be better than standing outside in the cold waiting for their dinner to get off the track!
  12. Thanks for the info Glen, I was just concerned the most about weight variances and potential misleading information to punters, as when a dog is up in weight I always presume they'll jump slightly better, but may weaken the last little bit.
  13. Wanganui continuing to have struggles with the weighing scales. When are the Stipes going to start fining the club for incompetence? If I wanted to gradually bring my dogs weight down/up, and there are no weights taken; at their next start they will be under/over 1.5kg and that would cause a fine to be given. I understand that the rule is at their last race day weight, but will the stipes understand this if it occurs??? Come on Wanganui, I like to know any variance in weights before having a punt!
  14. But Greg. Will a dog never downgrade because it can't get a start when easily outclassed?
  15. Our group 1 minimum stakes is pathetic
  16. Probably cheaper than importing your own fs from US, after all the complications with quarantine laws etc. But yes, a costly exercise
  17. A litter has to be whelped in new Zealand to be classed as nz bred. That means the Bitch can be inseminated in aus and fly back to have the pups and they will still be eligible for nzrs
  18. I believe this is a fair policy, meaning dogs can get opportunities more often than not. I don't agree with it applying to feature races and I didn't think it did either.
  19. Your only as good as your last start in the north. He will get a start next week since he is a reserve. We have known since the criteria was introduced that this was going to happen, but it is fair. reserves last week have gotten in, alike Butcha will next week

  21. Thanks mate. It was a comment for you to go back and investigate the dog
  22. That's why no stand down. Just needs to do a satisfactory trial. Come on Mr police man stipendiary steward. Understand why they've chosen their actions
