  3. How ridiculous that its a NO TV race here in NZ. Good luck Stu , Warren, AC and team Lets hope the wee girl puts her best foot forward.
  4. I wonder if the stipes are going to hair test me now to see if im on 'crack' Wonder where theyd want the sample from??
  5. What a stupid thing to write on a public forum. Best handler.. If it was about handling winners then why do we celebrate the success of trainers and owners and not the handlers. Now if you were talking about passion or how far someone has come n the industry then i applaud the mention of mark. But this is just stupid and i know mark feels the same way. Corey Steele
  6. Can you explain for me olease john as i dont understand what ray means..
  7. Can you explain for me olease john as i dont understand what ray means..
  8. Are the Genetics not the same being Littermates???
  9. It was a decent bet for the average joe blogs. But for Matt at the time it was considered a normal sized bet. Get a life Cantab.. ashame that karma will be waiting for you around the corner
  10. Wanting a second hand dog walker. Please contact me with what you have. Corey 0211747593
  11. I take it personally because i am a battler. Noddy and christine are battlers We work just as hard as anyone else in this sport to try and make a loving. Yet youve got someone spotting every little petty thing wrong thats happening around the country. Sairy.. earlier you questioned my integrity and called me a cowboy. Feel free to sit down for a chat at waikato thursday and we can have a decent talk about the integrity of the sport. Which you and i had previously discussed a few weeks back at the hose down bay.
  12. Angry over nothing. Well if its nothing. Why raise the apparant issue. You must be super clean sairy. Seem to know all see all. We all work hard to make something out of this deteriorating industry and you seem to throw the rocks at us all. We all want the best for the industry thats why myself dont worry bout the little petty things but look at the bigger picture
  13. Do you think noddy or christine read the crap on here. I say not. So maybe a phone call to them would be more proficient yankiwi to get your wish. But then. How would they know who you are. What job title could you give them so they have a better understanding of what your job is and their infringment . I say there are bigger and more important things to worry about and discuss on this forum. But if you feel the need to maybe flick the club an email and they can talk to noddy at the track if they see it as an offense to the rules just to remind them of their obligations.
  14. I guess theyre unbiased when they havent heard of the dogs nominated. Lol
  15. Theyre worried about imports affecting our numbers. But we arent going to import rubbish with the ever increasing transport costs. The odd one is a flop. But generally imports go to c2/3 if not higher. The cost of purchasing a greyhound in new zealand now has gone up dramatically over the past few years so it makes it tough trying to find one for new owners.
  16. Another one ive seen is newly registered greyhound - Mocha Chino The mother of Silver Collar winner Mr. Chino, Mochaccino is said the same, but spelt differently. Maybe within the time frame allowed , unsure but was surprised when going through the recent registrations to find this
  17. Thats right, but then in saying that, sometimes incidents do happen, and calling a meeting off after one injury is not the way to go. But when the track is determined to be the only factor causing the injury, something needs to be done. Either rectifying the problem on the track, or the last resort, calling the meeting. My pet peeve at the moment, is stipes trying to over-rule trainers, when they want to pull dogs out for the welfare of the animal, by giving them 28 days and fines. Surely those trainers views should be heard, and allowing them to scratch should always be an option. Even it was 10 day stand-down, which would help the integrity, so trainers aren't pulling dogs out for no reason and blaming the track. 28 days is a long time between pay days for trainers, sometimes the difference between eating and not.
  18. Yeboah might as well have gotten 28 days, because i can almost guarantee he won't be going around the northern circuits in the next 4 weeks, because why risk dogs on a track you think is unsafe. Whether they are some of the best c5 dogs, or the battling c1's. We all have our different perspectives on track conditions. Some will want to race, some do not. Why give someone 28 days for the welfare of their animal. I was not up there, so couldn't comment on track conditions, but when Dunedin was abandoned a few weeks ago, myself and Andy McCook were pulling our dogs out before they called it off. We were going to get 28 days, but was called off after the next race when the vet stated he thought the track was the cause of an injury. Good on you Steve, Kathy and Tony. The right decision made in my opinion. -Corey Steele-
  19. Shoe Polish would be preferred. But before you do, i had better get the right brand off the stipes at Addington, to keep within their requests
  20. The dog was charged for marring, in no way, shape or form did the dog turn its head before the line, making clear and conclusive contact with the other dog. AFTER THE FINISH POST DOES NOT COME INTO THIS EQUATION - as it has been said before, also being well documented in the rule book. In my opinion, i also don't see the dog failing to pursue. Is running wide a racing offence?
  21. So, in that case, when a case is taken to the JCA, after the line should not even be shown, as it irrelevant to the charge??? I know the answer to that, does the RIU? Despicable, in my opinion that we are going to continue being battlers, when the rules are not upheld or even known by the governing force
  22. Has it got a registered owner now? I don't know the dog in question, but what what i do know is; sometimes when paperwork is being processed, the website is the last place to know most of the information. Especially change of ownership, and naming of greyhounds. Its like saying, how can I qualify my dog without the papers of registration being presented, whilst they're in the post, yet on the website the naming is through... I think in this case, its just a bit of slow updating and processing . (only because thats what it sounds like)
  23. What A Mate - 205 starts Tails Off - 210 starts. Another to mention. As I have said on another thread a wee while back. Our Patch had 110 starts over the hurdles. Out of 186 starts I think..?
  24. I would like to apologize to all for ' cracking ' under the pressure of being Santa's pick for that race. It's an honour bestowed upon the strong and bold. Of which I failed. I also want to apologies for ruining greyhound racing for the future. Not only have we just lost 30% of our viewers. But stakes are now to be cut back to pay for all law suits and councillor services required for 44.6% of viewers on Xmas eve. I think now turning the tv off and listening to trevs calls are sounding more appealing by the day. Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
  25. Nice to see James and Alysha have a good day at wanganui with Davey Boys dogs. Well done.
