I think its both Mike. It is getting exspensive to import, and there isnt alot in aussie for most owners budgets, so NZ breeding is on the rise as there is now a bigger market for it. I think that its more exciting to watch dogs from little puppies to race dogs on the track, and also watching their parents race. Hopefully it continues. Good luck tonight Mike and Linda. I see that the last race tomorrow at Wanganui is a distance race, and from my understandings, catchers are required for 520m and 645m at Wanganui. Then why would they have a race, requiring catchers, be the last race?? Fair enough, its the feature event on the card, aswell as finals being run, but have it 2nd last or race 10, so that way there will more than likely be suffice catchers and handlers available. Others thoughts????

Almost cried a few months back when my anchor in the quaddie was trevs best bet, and thats all he could talk about leading into the race. Was the first leg, so took field except for my anchor and anchored someone lese in leg 3: As you probably guessed, trevs bb ran dead last, but I got the quaddie so wasnt so bad. either trevs best bet is a 1.50 fav and most people know its got a great chance at winning, or he picks a 2.40 fav and talks it up like its a black caviar of the field and runs no good. He must be a magician, because good dogs run no good when trevs on them
