Looks like a field day coming up. Mr Myers has 29 individual horses nominated for the the 16 races of the 2 day meeting - 24 on Friday and 27 on the Sunday. I am sure the club will benefit greatly. Stable stars Scapolo and Overtheriver are nominated for Sunday.

Both Houndscry and Sonny Wellington won yesterday. It was at a non-tote affair, but nonetheless another $12K in the bank. The Myers record is now 14 starts 8 wins 6 placings. Crocodile Canyon runs on Cup day, currently at 18s.

The Myers teams is doing well in their Australian campaign. From 11 starts, they have had 6 wins and 5 placings. Scapolo is going particularly well, winning 2 and a certainty beaten in his other race. Once he learns to race properly,he will do even better. Agree, sure they will put OP up, then hope for a little rain. He is $18 on the fixed odd at the moment - surely worth a lazy dollar or two.

Great that the team has opted to pay the late entry fees to get into the Spring Classic. It will be a tough ask to win, but his fans will be cheering him on.

The Myers team has some ambitious nominations for this horse. Maybe his run on Saturday shows that these plans are justified. At great money too!
