At least I knew I was struggling from Race 1, unlike young Brian who got guillotined Race 9 by Roland "win with 0, win with $1000+, I don't care" Sir C.
Down the ladder, up the ladder, it is like playing snakes'n'ladders

Commiserations PJ.
I went through the "take me out back and shoot me" stage a year ago and things are much better now.
You just need Sarah to run in with the beers and remote control when you holler
If you can lie flat then it is not the worst imaginable, trust me, and therefore the recovery should be quicker, we all hope.

Study hard TC, I have always found the more study you put in then the more you move off the winner, rather than on to it

hey Hesi !!! less of the "wily" and "old" please. I am thinking I would be down in the median region of cafer's age range. 
The trouble with being 6-0 is that you know that day where you narrow every race down to 3 and drop the wrong one, is only a day away
I was leading Pam nicely yesterday until Grunt came along. 5 mins before the race I knew that that race I was going down in, and did. But why did the fav have to win the last race at Flemington? When I had 7 horses lined up to complete the treble with my anchored "Grunt"? Yip racing can be frustrating!
And there was me cheering Roland on to great win of $0 over Jen too! All for nought   Roll on next week and just a smidgen of luck against TC. And just maybe an extra hour of study along the way.....

You throw in a couple of tricky 2yo races Peter, and now you're starting the mind games

Jeez Cat,I just hate people who have to show off their typing skills.That would take me longer to type than study the Fields

Rich Billy Marsh always goes out in front, but usually 6/8 lengths,and those jockeys letting her go out by the margin she did, in a 1200m race, should have been hauled over the coals. Bloody ridiculous especially seeing  she was in form,ran second  last start. The Stipes not doing their job. Would have been a different story in Aust.

That must be the opposite to Race 2 when the rest of the jockeys must have said "Rich Billy Marsh went too fast, so we let her go to a 15 length lead and win by 2 lengths". 
Didn't even rate a mention in the stipe's report.
