I have a 2yo Compacent gelding currently being broken in. Temperament is outstanding, hes a lovely type and the breaker loves him. I hope to go back to him next season.

So biff if that is your point of view, why did Zed work? Having spoken to the stud, they know they are pushing the proverbial uphill being based in Taranaki - lets face it that was always going to be an issue with any stallion. They are trying to aim at the same market Zed did when he first went to stud with the non refundable booking fee to attract more mare owners - particularly those small breeders who weren't intending to breed this season but may look at giving him a go. He has also been advertised late so I personally don't think he'll get the mare numbers to him that Zed did obviously. I think at that price, he's worth a punt. Only son of Volksraad, and dam line is proven in this country. Only time will tell of course!

Am looking for a couple of mares for the coming season so come on here to check the classifieds... NOTHING! Where are they advertised now? There is no publication for them now, and nothing on here so are people just not advertising anymore?

I note this stallion only covered 11 mares last year, and with the arrival of Rich Hill's new stallion that he is now listed as a "previous stallion" on their website. Does anyone know where he's gone?

Does anyone know anything about the above farm? A friend has acquired a TB mare who was prepped by them for the 2012 Festival sale and she's after some info on her and hoping they could help, but I've never heard of them. TIA

When he was on the sidelines with his injuries over here and they had him co-hosting on Trackside I thought he was pretty good. The last few interviews I've seen of him though he's been terrible, like its such a damn effort. Unfortunately that is part of the job of being a jockey these days, especially if you are at the top.

I'm with Rich on this one, that's the way I saw it also. G1 winners in alphabetical order folled by G2 winners in alphabetical order and so on.
